Right, so instead of endless topics asking us how busy the park is going to be, instead here is a rough guide to the kind of business the park/s should be expecting this season. It's not set in stone and remember business can be effected by weather, ride reliability, mount of trains/cars on the rollercoasters, amount of staff working on things, fastrack etc etc etc!10am - 5pm Weekday. Likely to be very empty, particularly in term time. Queue time should be minimal (Unless your name is Stealth and you have a stupid system where you can only load 4 in the first, 8 in the second and then you end up rolling back anyway etc etc) 10am-5pm Weekend. Will be emptyish, however lik…

Hi all, I was just having a look at the thorpe website and I've noticed a feature on it. https://www.thorpepark.com/tickets-passes/ticket-information/ When you click on tickets the options come up, RESERVE N RIDE, is the last on the list however risk still there. However, when you click on it, it comes up with an error message! My question is mainly aimed at thorpe however it takes a while to do a direct message to them so I was wondering if anyone knew if they had plans to bring back the system? Many thanks.

Whilst no actual leaflet with all this year's info has been produced, it seems new rulings are on the website:http://www.thorpepark.com/plan-your-visit/disabled-guide.aspxNear the bottom, where it's got 'Helpers / Companions', we've got this:"Only one helper per disabled guest can use the access pass on any of our THORPE PARK rides and attractions."The entire section seems to be written as if there can only be 1 helper on a ride as well. Under Ride Access higher up, it says something about for safety reasons about the number of disabled guests, blah blah blah, you may have to divide into smaller groups - which is impossible if there's only 2 people, which could mean that…

HiI really want to apply to Thorpe Park, and I notice that applications are currently open. I am 15 at the moment although I will be 16 in June. Am I allowed to apply now and then if I get an interview would I be permitted to specify that I'd be able to work part-time during the summer period (I'll be 16 then)?

GOOD POINTS: - The rides and themeing of course! The best in the UK IMO- The view from the entrance is breathtaking being able to see almost all the rides in there glory is amazing!- The staff are very friendly and make the day out even more enjoyable - The fact that the park is on an island it makes it very different and is more magical IMO than a park such as Alton Towers that is set in huge woodland. BAD POINTS: - The park can get VERY busy I think THORPE PARK should allow less numbers in on peak days.- Ride breakdowns are very common at the park however this improved ALOT in 2009! So hopefully 2010 will be even better!- Colossus REALLY needs a re-paint!Despite its ba…

Hi everyone, this is my first post - this question isn't about me it's about my partner who is a quite a big guy! He is around 6'1, 19st & has a bit of a belly on him, I'm just wondering if he will be OK on the rides at Thorpe Park? We're also going to Alton Towers & Blackpool Pleasure Beach in the same week. It's my 26th birthday & as a surprise he's booked for me to go everywhere. We've both been to Blackpool Pleasure Beach before, I have been to Alton Towers many a time (he hasn't) & we recently went to Porto Aventura earlier this year & he was okay on the rides there.. but I am just a little worried about him. I would die if he saw me posting thi…

Hey guys, I am visiting thorpe in 13 days and just have a question about which rides let you take off your shoes etc. I understand that the flat rides like samurai, vortex, rush and detonator allow shoes off but are there any other rides which allow you to do this? Many thanks

Hi, I'm quite a large female, but also on the shorter side and was wondering about the chest/thigh restrictions on Thorpe Park Rides. I've been to Flamingo Land in Yorkshire many times and had no worries about fitting in rides at all and not even needed help from the workers. But there seems to be a lot about size restrictions and people being turned down in Thorpe Park, even if they are below the restriction of 51 inches stated on the website. So was just wondering if anyone has been on any rides in Flamingo Land (as this is my most recent experience; and I went on them all - Kumali, Mumbo Jumbo etc) with no problems at all. Don't know if I'm just worrying for no reaso…

This might sound like a stupid question but tomorrow I am going to Thorpe with a friend and therefore won't have a parent to hold my bag/ phone. This means that I will have to hold my bag at all times in the park. However, on some rides like inferno and Colossus, there isn't any bag drop. What would you recommend I do with my phone (and bag) when I do rides because I really don't want my phone to be stolen?

Hi I'm going Thorpe park in about 4 to 6 weeks and I'm a very big person. My friend and I been planning it for almost a year knw I wanna go but I dot wanna go if that make sense it say on the because on the website the seat size is max 51 torso. I'm not quite sure what that means I want about 8 years ago and 2 people had to lock me in the ride (vortex) Back the I was 3xl at the time 51 to 53 inch after that I I got bigger by the year ending on 6xl 64 to 70 inch. Thank god I found the way to the gym which helped me come down to 2xl thank god [emoji1317][emoji1317] which is about 48 inch with a bit I just needed to let that out as I'm am very nervous if I will fit or …

Hi, I'm going to Thorpe tomorrow with my brother. We've been to Alton Towers a fair few times but he's bored of there so wanted to go to Thorpe. We're going on a Sunday because I read in a few places that it's generally quieter than Saturdays. However with the weather and school holidays I expect it to be busy so looking for any tips to get as many rides as possible! Am I right that there are no SRQs and they push fastrack quite hard? We object to the idea of fastrack so will avoid it. At Alton it's fairly predictable which rides will be busy early morning/quiet late in the day etc. Are there any rides at Thorpe which stay busy all day? Recommendations for rides to get…

I've only ever used single rider queues at Alton Towers and I think they're great! I never went to Thorpe park at the time when they were using the single rider ques for some of the rides. Every time I've seen or asked why they got rid of it they've always said people misused it. I just saw this on Facebook replying to someone. How were people misusing the system? The system is for people who are willing to ride alone, I don't see how it can be misused? Also how did this lead to slowing down the queue for everyone else?

Hi I'm a manual wheelchair user planning to visit Thorpe Park for the first time in a couple of weeks. What is the access like around the site? I.e. how hilly is it? are the rides far apart? I've been to Alton Towers a couple of times and I think their ride access passes are the same aren't they? The website says that the ride access pass is issued to anyone with medical evidence of why they can't queue. Are any of the queue line areas wheelchair accessible? Because I can queue like anyone else if I can fit in the place where you're meant to queue, and it doesn't take me up steps etc... If the queue areas aren't accessible then presumably evidence that I have to use a…

Okay, the reason why I am asking this is because I had a sketchy experience regarding queue jumpers at the queue in saw the ride at Thorpe park.... So I got really annoyed at these people who where pushing past saying that their 'friends were just over there'. I confronted them telling them they couldnt go past because you werent allowed to do such thing and that she was with her friends and they werent ahead. So she pushed ahead and waited until their was a fence between us until she threatened me that if I didn't shut up she would slap me and 'do me in'.. So I called a member of staff and by then I couldnt spot her in the queue. Then I spotted her at the end of the ride…
