Hi,Tommorrow I'm taking my sister to Thorpe Park for her first ever time.Despite having been on every ride myself my sister has never even been on a ride that goes upsidedown.I'm thinking of taking her on Nemesis, The Swarm and X://WTF.What do you think are good rides for newbies?

Hi, I went to Thorpe park a couple of weeks ago and I had heard that the queue boards had been moved or something? As we went around the park I kept an eye out for them but I couldn't see any of them. Not sure where they are. Maybe I'm just blind or something. Thanks.

  3. Hi all, have Thorpe still not decided to offer print at home for fright night annual pass tickets? Queueing up during HT will be ridiculous. Cheers

A friend of mine has BOGOF vouchers that have an exclusion of 'special events'. Would that include fright nights? I've got a feeling this question has cropped up before and the vouchers can be used for fright nights, but does any one know for sure? EDIT - from the horses mouth... no it's not.

Sorry, another size question. I'm just panicking as I'm going to TP tomorrow and scared I'll have to do the walk of shame haha Anyone of similar size had any problems? I'm most worried about Colossus. 5'7, 237lbs size 20 both top and bottom I don't have a measuring tape but last time I checked my chest was 49", stomach 47" standing. I also have quite large thighs. I have lost 35lbs since then so maybe a little smaller now, although I am still the same size clothing lol. Thanks.

I bought 2 tickets yesterday via phone using corporate discount, but have to pick up the tickets from the Advanced Ticket booths. Does anyone know if these booths open before the gates open, as I want to be one of the first on the park and not be queuing for tickets!

Hi all, I'm new to the forums but was wondering if the Thorpe Park press night tickets were usable by other people. My friend offered me one because his dad, who works for a newspaper, can't make it. I was wondering if we would still be allowed in or if they would see it wasn't him and deny us entry. Thanks in advance.

Is an annual pass the best and cheapest way to visit for two days? Didnt there used to be an upgrade on the price that was cheaper for two days? Thanks!

  14. Started by OldFarmerDean,

Got a while yet til it needs renewing (January) but I've just had a thought and out of interest would like to know... so basically we got the Premium annual passes in the january sale which as a family of 3 adults allowed us to get them what worked out £99each... So if one of us wants to renew, does that mean all 3 of us have to, or is the renewal price quite expensive, and you just buy a pass in the january sale? I'm a bit confused really as it's the first merlin pass I've had.. any help would be appreciated

Hello,I Have One Question. If I Bought Fright Nights Ticket Can I Enter The Park At 11am? Or Should I Buy Day Ticket Too.

  18. I know it's not going to be a typically packed day for the park and I don't often visit off-peak, so would taxi's and/or the shuttle bus be running tomorrow morning around 9:00?Thanks for any help

  19. Pretty simple one I'm just wondering, I've noticed the nearer the date you book the cheaper the rates are (booking for 2) Example: 3/4 may hotel + 2 day ticket is £111, where as the same thing two weeks later when we want to go is £160. Whats the best way to go about this? I know booking late there is more risk but that's a hefty amount cheaper. Thanks very much for your help in advance!

  21. Started by Matt A,

I'm planning to go to the next MoS night at TP and I was just curious about a few things and was wondering if anyone here knew the answers... 1) What are the queue times for rides like on the night? 2) Do the rides all shut at 11pm or do they sometimes stay open longer? 3) Is the club running from 8pm or does it start later? 4) Which rides are usually open? (esp. DBGT as most of my friends are yet to go on it and really want to) 5) What are the drinks prices like in the club? Lots of questions I know! But I would massively appreciate any knowledge anyone can shed on the subject, thanks!

Just wondering if anyone can help because I can't seem to find the information anywhere - when do all the live action mazes open? I know they are open fri-sun on Fright Night weekends and during half term week, but are they open on the weekdays in October when the park is open til 5pm? Thinking of going in the week of the 10th so hoping they are all open during the week too. Thanks for any help!

I've recently finished university but my NUS Extra card is valid for a few more weeks. Does it count as an acceptable student I.D. for the student offer?
