I've just booked tickets to the Thorpe Park Fright Night preview. It asked me how many tickets I wanted so I selected 6. Me & my husband are pass holders as are our 2 children. The kids obviously won't be coming but I booked 6 thinking that our friends could comebut do they need to be pass holders too? Do they ask for your pass as well or do you just need the tickets?

Just wondering how many times you've been Thorpe Park this year so far... and your favourite ride! I've been 8 times since May been trying to go at least once/twice a month as its "me" time since having a baby last year, and being back to work and my daughter in nursery I take the opportunity to book a day's holiday and leave my daughter at nursery and then come to Thorpe Park for the day! Its my hobby I guess ha ha ha ! I decided I should really get an AP (as I was finding it difficult to find the 2 for 1 all the time!)so I did with my 18,000 nectar points I'd had saved so am going even more since having this last month! My favourite ride still has to be stealth even…

Hi, I am going to go to Thorpe park but I Saw that some rides have a maximum height, someone knows if they measure you in the entrance of the ride or if you spend a little you can ride?? If someone have seen or know a person who have been in that situation. Thanks!

Greetings all! So I've been a long time lurker on these forums and am currently planning some theme park trips in the Summer for next year and was wondering whether an annual pass would be efficient for my situation. Not really a quick question but from lurking on these forums for so long and from what I've seen you guys are pretty good with questions and I wasn't sure of where else I would post this Okay to the point! Myself and 2 others all above 18 at this point want to visit Alton Towers, Thorpe Park and possibly various other Merlin attractions like the dungeons, legoland, Tussauds etc in the end of June start of July time period and probably various other visits…

Hi guys, I suffer with panic attacks and have done on and off for the past 10 years. recently I had a setback and take diazepam when I go out. Anyway, I love theme parks but am a bit of a wuss when it comes to the bigger rides. I'm not great on spinny rides (vomited after dragons fury once!), love water rides and some rollercoasters. Biggest coaster I have been on is Space Mountain at DLP. I have a big fear of puking mid-ride - dont mind being sick after the ride but the thought of barfing on other people fills me with fear! Though saying that I was fine on Rameses Revenge! Also the anxiety before riding is very similar to a panic attack which probably puts me off. …

Hi everyone, this is my first post - this question isn't about me it's about my partner who is a quite a big guy! He is around 6'1, 19st & has a bit of a belly on him, I'm just wondering if he will be OK on the rides at Thorpe Park? We're also going to Alton Towers & Blackpool Pleasure Beach in the same week. It's my 26th birthday & as a surprise he's booked for me to go everywhere. We've both been to Blackpool Pleasure Beach before, I have been to Alton Towers many a time (he hasn't) & we recently went to Porto Aventura earlier this year & he was okay on the rides there.. but I am just a little worried about him. I would die if he saw me posting thi…

When I was on a visit to thorpe park today I found it very nice and refreshing to see that the park where definately taking an interest in what the general public thought of the park, they had provide a touch screen display survey about your day with the chance to voice any other opinions ( I didn't see it though untill the end of the day so I didn't have time to write my essay of pro's and con's).There where poster in various places around the park which provided a number ( which I failed to remember or use during the time and would appreciate it if anyone else could provide the number) and explained that this number provided them with a free text to the park with the of…

So today I was remembering doing face it alone. Doing so made me think of one question and I apologise if it was already discussed. Why did Thorpe do away with it?? If its what I think it is in regards to it being "too extreme" then frankly I think that's ridiculous. Those who participated in it knew what they was getting themself in for given they had to sign a disclaimer which explained clear as crystal what was about to occur aswell as being told at the time of purchasing the tickets exactly what was about to happen. If it's because people complained then I personally feel that they should be more concerned with reading a disclaimer properly before signing …

Was anyone else held up by Liam and his "chums" on opening day? Although there were no queues for anything, the only waiting around was when him and his mates wanted to ride alone and stop the ride a few times to go maybe twice in a row... The park was so empty he basically had free reign with no hassle from any fans! although towards the afternoon people realised he was there and he was getting hounded a bit. It just seemed that every bloody ride we went on, he had already got there first holding up the ride for 15/20 mins! All in all had a great day though, never seen Thorpe so empty! went on everything far too many times!

Quick recap: I am honeymooning to Ireland and England in May and I am a roller coaster fan, and my fiance is a Harry Potter fan. We have a crazy idea for May 9th (Tuesday) and I am wondering if anyone can help us figure out if this idea is possible. I know it isn't the best (more time can be spent at each place), but we are limited on time. Anyway... 08:45am: Land in Heathrow (from Cork, Ireland) 12:00pm: Thorpe Park 04:00pm: Warner Brothers Studio Tour (Harry Potter) 1.) Is is possible to get to Thorpe Park by noon? We land at 8:45 am at Heathrow, but I saw online where passport control isn't necessary when coming from Ireland. We p…

So I went to Thorpe yesterday and found the queue times to be massively unreliable - some queue times showed 30 minutes but we queued for 10 minutes and some rides said 30 minutes and we queued for over an hour, I don't think there was a single ride with accurate an accurate queue time which made it really difficult to plan our day. Is this a normal occurrence or was I just unlucky on that particular day?

Hi all, I was wondering what your top ten rides at thorpe park were, this is including rollercoasters, flat rides and water rides. I thought it would be fun to compare! Anyway here's mine: 1. Slammer- I love this ride especially on the right hand side, the ride is amazing and will hate to see it go. Love the feeling of free falling. 2. The Swarm- The ride has got so much more intense and forceful over the past couple of years and I really enjoy it much more than I used to. 3. Saw: The ride- I love this ride, it always feels like it has a long ridetime and I love both the indoor and outdoor sections. The elements are really fun and enjoyable and I never find it too rou…

Hi, I'm going to Thorpe tomorrow with my brother. We've been to Alton Towers a fair few times but he's bored of there so wanted to go to Thorpe. We're going on a Sunday because I read in a few places that it's generally quieter than Saturdays. However with the weather and school holidays I expect it to be busy so looking for any tips to get as many rides as possible! Am I right that there are no SRQs and they push fastrack quite hard? We object to the idea of fastrack so will avoid it. At Alton it's fairly predictable which rides will be busy early morning/quiet late in the day etc. Are there any rides at Thorpe which stay busy all day? Recommendations for rides to get…
