stretchy
I think it looks fun too. I do love spinning coasters but hate the fact that they are all... meh.
JoshuaA
Blue Fire dosen't have a rave spiral lift hill though..

Project LC
Well I thought brave it backwards was a gimmick it would seem you can go one better. It looks stupid and like it wouldn't add much to the ride.
Ian-S
Wouldn't that be like Dragon's Fury on steroids? That'd be fun. pognoi
Tom
They're not suggesting adding a spinning car to the back of Blue Fire, they're testing the viability and ridability of spinning cars on Mack megacoasters Calm your hatred OldFarmerDean, holtjammy16 and EC!
Project LC
Fair enough, why would you want a spinning car on a megacoaster though?
pognoi
Because spinning through inversions might be fun, but no one knows because no one has done it yet.
holtjammy16
that looks really fun
Benin
Because spinning through inversions might be fun, but no one knows because no one has done it yet. 4 people have on Blue Fire... That said, Vertigo at Tivoli Gardens provides a similar experience (I.e. spinning/inverting in various axes), and I found that a rather vom-inducing experience... Imagine Blue Fire's inline with spinning involved? Ew... Besides, Blue Fire is perfect as it is...
Zach
I don't think people should immediately call it a bad idea, without at least trying it. I mean, I enjoy dragons fury and I love ble fire so maybe it would be great. pognoi and OldFarmerDean

AstroDan
Europa-Park will be getting a very small kiddie coaster next season for their Ireland area. It makes sense, as the current smallest coaster, Pegasus is far bigger than most park's smallest coaster! This will take them up to 13 rollercoasters! pognoi
Mark9
Have to say, Chris and I were very impressed by the VR headset on AlpenExpress. I was initially very sceptical of it but it was certainly pleasant enough and added enough to the ride to justify the 2 euro cost. pluk
OldFarmerDean
I hope if Air becomes VR that they don't charge extra at Towers... We know what M£RLIN are like... I would like to try a VR coaster though, does sound cool.
Mark9
Pegasus is getting VR this season. Woo, I hope the implementation (word of the day) is as good as Alpen Express's. Europa have made the right move, putting the VR on the quieter coasters. BenC
Charlesberg
Out of interest why does Silver Star have some huge cover on the drop?

Matt 236
Silver Star also can't operate beyond 8pm either as a result of its location. Rest of the park is unaffected as I'm aware.
Coaster
What happens when the park is open until after 8pm? Does Silver Star close early?
Benin
Yep, but since you have Blue Fire and Wodan open, it really doesn't matter that much...
Coaster
That's unfortunate, especially for what is recognised as one of the best operated parks in the world. I'm totally against rides closing early, guess it must be unavoidable though.

I'm totally against rides closing early, guess it must be unavoidable though. In all fairness, it is quite close to the nearby town and in order to try and keep relations with local residents sound [which I'm sure is the case with the vast majority]. Whilst there may be a light noticeable increase to other rides, the good thing about Europa is, the place is regarded as the best park for throughputs in not just Europe, but the whole world. A queue equivalent to 90 minutes on Saw, would be around 30 minutes at Europa.
