Mark9
Good. Maybe then we can stop these "staff members told me something but I can't back up my sources because it may cost them their job" nonsense. Then we can go back to being actually surprised when the park does something and not have it spoilered months in advance.
Dan9
Good. Maybe then we can stop these "staff members told me something but I can't back up my sources because it may cost them their job" nonsense. Then we can go back to being actually surprised when the park does something and not have it spoilered months in advance. Fair point, but sometimes it balances out through those who evidently don't know it all. The last post I remember of that sort was someone saying Slammer was being decommissioned before the end of the season. That worked out well for them, and the sight of Slammer testing was then made a nice surprise. Anyway, it's a shame for staff who don't tell everything to everyone they know, who might just genuinely like being able to know what's going on. zalittleguy
Towerstimes have realeased that there will be another 'sw7 from the air' update today at 6:30 Gonna be good!
JackR
Right, I found a picture of the face all over a wall in west London on Towers Street Forums. It says I can't post it on here so if you want to see it you can look on Alton Tower's Twitter account or on page 105 of the SW7 thread over at Towers Street. It looks like Alton are onto a winner with a solid coaster and strong, nationwide marketing to accompany it. I can't wait to see how everything pans out over the coming months! Coaster
Looks amazing! That inversion will be crazy, twisting through another one at the same time. But seriously, they have only done that much track?!
mah boi
^And the secret element. We don't know how complicated the system is so they could have spent much time on putting it all together.
Benin
Have they REALLY spoilered a zero-g? WARNING - POTENTIAL SPOILER!
Dan9
Have they REALLY spoilered a zero-g?WARNING - POTENTIAL SPOILER! It's funny because the whole right side of the image isn't even necessary, and if anything they've just drawn more attention to it.

Mark9
Amazingly compact ride there, in fact I can't even imagine a four per row ride car getting through all that.
Benin
That's going to break necks be intense. If it rides like Fluch, or Rage, or Speed, or Mystery Mine, then we'll be fine... Or have lap bars \o/ Also, GERSTLAUER CAR OF JOY!
pluk
That looks an absolute mess, in the most magnificent way. If the duelling aspect is correct two trains in that section at a time will look chaotic, like a dog fight. This should be one hell of a ride for the spectators. pluk
Since 2011, when they ballsed it right up. Chaos ensued. http://forum.towerstimes.co.uk/alton-towers-general/oblivion-now-sponsored-by-fanta/90/

Stokesyboy
Anyone else think they should stick one of those smiler faces on top of where the fanta bit is atm? I think that would look pretty good as you would see it from Oblivion aswell! Topsyturvy15
Mitchada04
These images of the barriers at Leeds station were posted over on TowersStreet forums. Love this illusive way of drawing peoples attention to the symbol but not giving any hints as to what it is for. holtjammy16
SW7 UPDATE FROM TT: In all seriousness, THIS IS A FACEBOOK UPDATE: Is it just me or does the track already look as if it's aged about 10 years since it arrived on site?
