Graw
Don't know if anyone has noticed this and I know its only planning, but: http://www.totalthorpepark.co.uk/images/random/swarmbts19.jpg Bottom right hand corner... 2013 Attraction Extentsion... Exciting!
JoshC.
That's been floating around for a while now! That particular PowerPoint was posted made in 2010 I believe, when early planning for Swarm was being made. A lot has changed then, so it may or may not happen now. The park have certainly adopted a '2 year marketing strategy' it seems for major coaster - Stealth was 'upgraded' in 2007, Saw had Saw Alive in 2010, so no doubt Swarm will receive some form of attention which will help keep its marketing fresh. Whether that is a bolt on ride or something different remains unknown at this stage.
Graw
Oh sorry didn't realise! My guess is a ride in 2014 (albiet a small one) to tie in with The Swarm, and further marketing next year? I could be wrong, but seems like a good idea to me.
sully1311
Swarm didn't open until the afternoon today. Effects were a bit meh, although I did see the fire go once and the LED's were on and the splash effect eventually working. It was an one train operation all day. Ricky
As far as I'm aware ALL LED's are now working, just in time for Fright Nights!
Craaig
Wow, just thinking about it - Swarm will look amazing come Fright Nights, with the LEDs and -possible- fire effects.
c1hrisin
The fire will light up the whole area! .. for a split second XD

Cal
Wow rode swarm last night. One of the best for dark , the fire effect lights up and heats up the whole area and the red LED lights on the train. Wow

Mad Coaster Man
Don't know if this was posted earlier but I found this hysterical Thorpe Park publicity stunt: http://www.metro.co.uk/weird/913081-thorpe-park-to-breathalyse-drunk-students-to-put-them-on-the-swarm Pretty funny. NikhilSharma
I think they could potentially turn vengeance from the london dungeon into the 2013 add on to the swarm
Stealthowl
I think they could potentially turn vengeance from the london dungeon into the 2013 add on to the swarm Why? The decision to get rid of a ride that is just over 1/2 years shows there's clear issues with it interms of downtime etc...
NikhilSharma
Why? And it's a waste of money for them
Marc
It had an awful lot of downtime I cant see thorpe getting it... hope not anyway!
jom222
Even if they did where would it go so that it would be near THE SWARM?

BigBobJones
It had an awful lot of downtime I cant see thorpe getting it... hope not anyway! Awful lot of downtime.... That means there is a transporter waiting to take it to Thorpe :-) If not Vengeance then some other dark ride would be welcomed at Thorpe IMO, the black hole tent was an eye sore, so even if Thorpe got a Black hole type ride in a tent, it won't look any worse than Storm Surge or the Crash Pad
