SophieR!OT
I hope Rush is closed tomorrow when I head over to Thorpe Park.If it's open, my friends will convince me to go on it, and I know I'll regret it afterwards!
Steven G
And 1) You would get lots of angry people at Thorpe.2) Other queues will (probably) be slightly longer
Dan_Rush
Rush is a really good ride, this is my reasons why I like it:1. I've never experienced such an awsome feeling on any other ride2. It lasts long enough to say you've had a good time on it, not that long, so that people start to feel sick, and not too short.3. The anouncements and music waiting in line makes you feel ready to face the challenge of something scarry. That's it really
Sam P
I have never been on Rush because everytime I go Rush has been shut
Deleted Users
Yeah rush is nearly always closed, (N), but still one of my favourite rides though! hope it isnt closed this wednesday!!!
A-Kid
It was running really well on monday. The swings were in sync and it didn't break down. I got 13 goes on it. The park was quiet for most of the day. I got 47 rides in total!

furiouspanda
Rush has been really poorly this year...Yesterday swing B kept going too high, and swing A was wobbling from side to side. A lot...Hopefully they'll fix it properly over the winter...

Dan9
It doesn't usually last a minute.
Dan_Rush
It doesn't usually last a minute.I just wish it lasted longer than it actually does. It seems like you are on for a long time, but in reality it's really short
D4n
When the queue is long riders are given a circuit that is amount a minute long- EG on my last visit each circuit was 1 minute long as the queue was 60 minutes!

Untrue. Riders are given a pre set amount of swings which tends to be 10 powered swings between Feburary to June, and then 8 powered swings between July and November. barley142007
many people have said that THORPE PARK should put something else in - instead of lapbars, as many people dont go on it as they dont feel secure!
Dan_Rush
many people have said that THORPE PARK should put something else in - instead of lapbars, as many people dont go on it as they dont feel secure! I think the bars on rush are secure enough, it's not as if they can be lifted up during the ride so it's okay.what would you put there in sted
Dan9
many people have said that THORPE PARK should put something else in - instead of lapbars, as many people dont go on it as they dont feel secure! Firstly, who has said this? And secondely, why? If Rush had Over The Shoulder Restraints, it would completely ruin the entire ride, and make it dreadfully dull. It would be even worse than Vortex, which is already dull, so basically it would be an even duller ride and everyone would hate it. If people are that scared then don't ride it. Elliot
I think Vortex is pretty boring, when with friends I wonder why everyones screaming, it doesn't make my stomach churn or even make me twitch, it's not very entertaining to me whereas rush is, I really like rush. Theme Park bloke
Whenever I ride Vortex me and my mates are the only ones not screaming.
Rich
Whoa! You and your mates must be hard core!! Seriously though, Vortex isn't that good in my opinion.Anyway back on topic: Rush is just amazing from start to finish. Love the fact it's just a lap bar! Mark9
The last three posts demonstrate how out of touch I must be in the "thorpe park" world. I despise Rush and enjoy Vortex. Maybe I'm a theme park equivalent of "alternative"
James
I don't despise Rush but I still prefer Vortex. Not too sure why, I just prefer Vortex!
Lewie900
Vortex isnt as good as rush to be honist, its the best ride in the park

I don't get why? I just smile! But anyway...I love the lap bars aswell because the feeling you get when you are falling feels so... safely insecure? That sounds really really weird but what I mean is if you were flat back against the chair you DEFFINATELY wouldn't get the same feeling!! Lewie900
Rush never has a big que anymore, its always short, and thats good coz its my fav ride, its coz so many ppl hate it.Whenever I go on Rush I see at least one swings worth or people looking horrified and there about to throw up.Lol but as the first guy said, less queing time for me!
