Merry-go-girl
Well, we have been rambling on about a ride we know almost nothing about for almost a year. It was bound to get dumb at some point. dragon2000

Tom
It's got entertainment value The fact that some people actually think Thorpe are getting a robo-coaster or trackless ride is truly laughable Ryan and Kerfuffle
pluk
but but but... it's going to be an industry game changer?
xxbennxx
It's a bloody immersive tunnel variant. We all know it, and I am the only one who wants to admit it. I wish this was an oceaneering motion based spectacular, or a track mounted robocoaster. But it won't be.
Project LC
For the record I don't think they are getting a robocoaster.
JoshC.
The fact that some people actually think Thorpe are getting a robo-coaster or trackless ride is truly laughable If the rumoured high investment costs of this thing hold true, then I don't think a trackless dark ride is outside the realm of possibility to be honest. I think it's doubtful given we've got an attraction which surely takes place over two floors, but I don't think it's necessarily a laughable option. Just looking at the building makes it seem like there's so much structure and so little room for much actual hardware, which throws out so, so many possible ride choices that we know of. I'm just curious as to what on earth it could be..
Matt 236
They say this ride will be a game changer. I can't decide on twister or mouse trap. In all seriousness hope it isn't an immersive tunnel as it would be a bit of a let down if it was one.
3Dimensions
It's RMC's first ever indoor, robotic aquatrax/wooden hybrid with a trackless system. Now that 100% won't ever happen because...physics. yeah

xxbennxx
What if this is a variant on the tunnel concept, hear me out here, this is pure speculation but could explain why you load on an upper floor. You are in suspended seats with screens below and to the sides of you.
pluk
I'm sure screens bellow riders would really last well! The last thing I want is a take on Snorin'

Not going to lie, but an immersive tunnel isn't going to feel very immersive with a huge piece of equipment above you moving you. Honestly sounds like you're clutching at straws. Fin The Human
Just found this on NLE... tbh I think its a really cool idea, but maybe not for a theme park. xxbennxx
TPC created bulls###. The spelling is wrong and it would be "world's first" not the grammatically incorrect worlds first that they put on there. Better luck next time.

OldFarmerDean
Just because somewhere shares something... Doesn't mean they've made it up! If something was sent to you or seen it online, you may as well share it for speculation, as no one has a clue, it could be right! :/
