Jimmy!
If you look on the first picture in the set that Diesel posted you can see, bottom right, some tubes heading into the plane's structure. Maybe for the smoke effects?
Sidders
I noticed that Jimmy - also notice how, in later pictures, you can see vent gratings placed over the backs of the plane nacelles... A promising sign, perhaps?
Bubbles1
the trains are very long aren't they, I had no idea there was so much space
Sidders
Yep; trains are massive. I'm not sure if they're the longest trains B&M have built (Manta probably takes that title) but at 15m long and 6.5m wide they certainly are the heaviest. holtjammy16
Theme Park GuideThe helicopter blades on The Swarm have now been confirmed to rotate!!!Is this true?
Sidders
Considering the helicopter is still registered to fly and has all it's rotor-blades fully intact (much unlike the concept imagery) I'd imagine the rotor-blades should be spinning, yes. Not entirely sure whether they are yet, because no video we have seen has shown us, but then again no video has shown any other effect. Thorpe are saving the best till last it seems... JoshC.
TPG have said that they got the information from the Press Pack, which one can only assume would be this - http://www.thorpepark.com/downloads/press/THORPE-PARK-Press-Pack-2012.pdfI can't see that information anywhere, but the pack says Swarm has 4 inversions, whereas it's marketed as having 5. Also gives other snippets of information, such as the ride duration being 125 seconds () and has a theoretical throughput of 1100pph (which is 50 less than Inferno)... Saz
I really can't see how Swarm has a ride duration of 125 seconds - 30 seconds more than Inferno, Saw and Colossus. They must be counting the probable 20-30 second wait on the block-brake section after the last inversion.....

TraX
Looks like the 'shudder' that Raptor has, may be more so here.. The on-ride camera shaking, coming out of the zero-g roll.Certainlly NOT a problem tho!
Benin
Just noticed the extremely blaise face on the red haired girl...Blates part of the ECC...Also, both inside and outside seats will be good... There's no need to only dedicate yourself to one set (or side for that matter)...

mah boi
I thought the fire effect would be just a single pipe, but appears it will go sideways. I wonder why?
UnderItAll
I'm not an expert, but maybe it's to discharge the gas to the sides and create more of a ball of flame, rather than a vertical discharge.Tom.

It is then discharged into two different directions via use of that plate. Sheepie
Diesel
Are you actually questioning why it has a divider? You should be grateful we have fire.
Tom
When did he say he was ungrateful? Or even imply it.He asked why it goes 'sideways', please calm down. Will, ThrillSeekerMatt, JackR and 3 others
StevenVig
It is indeed to distribute the flames onto either side. The effect will become slightly bigger.
