March 31, 201114 yr comment_112218 CCR doesn't have a tunnel. It's a fake route; the 'tunnel' (I believe) is an entrance for engineers for Loggers Leap's tunnel. So simple, yet so effective.EDIT: Tidal Rave beat me to it
March 31, 201114 yr comment_112219 I think Medusa does still work. But I agree with you really Mark, it's literally the only thing I can think of. Shame.
March 31, 201114 yr comment_112228 I never even realised that Medusa thing was there until you just showed me a picture of it.EDIT: PLANS FOR LC12 HAVE BEEN APPROVED.

Inflation?
April 1, 201114 yr comment_112248 You mean THIS topic... http://forum.maniahub.com/topic/7483-gardaland/And just why has the cost of this gone up 2 million? Inflation?Merlin have a dartboard with loads of costs on it.
April 1, 201114 yr comment_112263 Why does the pre lift section remind me of Air? Oh yeah, because it's a concrete tunnel. The ride itself looks good though.
April 1, 201114 yr comment_112266 Why does the pre lift section remind me of Air? Oh yeah, because it's a concrete tunnel. The ride itself looks good though. The concrete works though because of the flashing red lights, they also continue on the lifthill railings.
April 1, 201114 yr comment_112269 Ok, I stand corrected.I probably took seeing that when I have been on Air that many times, that it just seems so boring going through that tunnel, when so much themeing could have been installed there.
April 1, 201114 yr comment_112270 Surely we're talking about the wrong ride here?Raptor has a concrete tunnel, but at least it actually fits into the theme of secret government base... Air just suffered from budget cuts...
April 1, 201114 yr comment_112275 Well I'm very happy that the plans have been approved Now there are no excuses left for cutting stuff - just up to Thorpe to deliver now...!
April 1, 201114 yr comment_112292 At least we fully understand what the restraints are like now; sort of a mini version of air's vest restraints without the ankle bit. Looks pretty comfortable.
April 1, 201114 yr comment_112303 This is great news! With all the depressing news this year, this is something to really look forward to. As far as the budget, well the plans been approved, there is no tree removal or possible landscaping surprises as it is a blank canvass, so hopefully we should see the plans come to fruition! And May 2011! Get ready for construction photo's!!!!
April 1, 201114 yr comment_112305 I wouldn't call this ride great news! It's based on destruction haha! But I'm looking forward to it, I think LC12 is going to be a larger scale version of this to be honest, Raptor/X-Raptor is just to see the response from the general public and hopefully this is gonna be bigger and better. Also, it says it's gonna be like 127ft? I swear it was meant to be taller then that
April 1, 201114 yr comment_112306 Looking at the plans I'm actually quite excited for this. I love the idea of the overturned trucks for the shops and photo stand things.
April 1, 201114 yr comment_112311 At least we fully understand what the restraints are like now; sort of a mini version of air's vest restraints without the ankle bit. Looks pretty comfortable.I have the issue with free ankles, X and X2 made me feel really unsafe because the lack of angle restraints make your legs fly everywhere - painful, not fun.Buuuuut, hopefully this will be different!
April 1, 201114 yr comment_112313 I have the issue with free ankles, X and X2 made me feel really unsafe because the lack of angle restraints make your legs fly everywhere - painful, not fun.Buuuuut, hopefully this will be different! I see where you're coming from; maybe the fact you were being spun here, there and everywhere had something to do with that?
April 1, 201114 yr comment_112322 And May 2011! Get ready for construction photo's!!!! You mean the pile of mud?
April 2, 201114 yr comment_112329 Hey hey... there could be JCB's and other heavy machinery too Still can't believe the Pilot's union response to the aircraft scenery; it's like saying Nemesis Inferno is distasteful for victims of volcanic eruption...

Really? Does Nemesis and Inferno make your legs feel painful? I love inverted style coasters where your legs dangle!!!
April 2, 201114 yr comment_112360 Thorpe dont make the themeing they just give the budget for someone else to! Thorpe didn't even think of the themeing, Merlin Studios would of, Thorpe just would of said yay or ney
