So, the new movie themed park is well under way now! I know it's a little late but here are some photos from May 2013, showing the newer style Colossus taking shape: Looking Similar: New style of drop: Moving on to June 2013 now: And for some reason the final inversion is through a tunnel I've got to say, the new style of the clone is much more pleasing to look at, the inlines seem much more open with a fraction of the supports and I can only assume that to be down to the tri-railed track making it strong? Or Intamin realised it looked somewhat ugly to have a support every 5 foot! Photos used from TheParks.it, the rest of th construction galllery can be fo…

  3. Hi! I've composed for this attraction that I thought might interest you all! Lynton V Harris & The Sudden Impact! Entertainment Company have created the world’s first live interactive GHOSTBUSTERS attraction, under License from Sony Pictures Consumer Products, and launched into previews this past weekend ahead of an expected blockbuster Summer season starting mid-July. The company has inked a three year deal with Sony Pictures Consumer Products in Los Angeles, and continues its relationship with Six Flags Mexico following the success of the Company’s previous attractions there, ‘The Van Helsing Experience Live!’ and ‘TerminatorX: A Laser Battle for Salvatio…

So this will be the page for Holiday world in Indiana, USA. This park is home to 3 famous woodies, Raven, The Legend and The Voyage. Raven The Legend The Voyage All 3 are highly respected rides in America. And for 2015 it looks like they will be getting their first ever big steel coaster! Rumours were initially were RMC or Mack however the most likely rumour now is a B&M mainly due to the footers on site. These are the footers found on the holiday world site: Notice the footers with the almond/ova shaped holes in the middle of the shot. Then look at Banshee and Krake's: This among many websites, they think is conf…

Sorry to make a new topic... But was looking at a holiday in Tunisia and looking what to do in the area, stumbled upon Hannibal Park from trip advisor, can't find a website for it, but just wondering if in the rare chance anyone has been?

I imagine this won't attract much attention on this forum, however I think this is a particularly exciting development to Europe arriving in June this year! Adventure World Warsaw will contain several major features including a massive entertainment village, a theme park, a water park and two hotels. The theme park will be the first ever theme park to set foot in Poland and the water park will be the largest water park in the whole of Poland. The total cost of this project before opening is to be set around €620million and the resort plans to expand in the future. The theme park itself will contain 6 themed lands with over 50 guest experiences including 24 themed rides.…

  9. Pretty surprised to see there's no thread for this! Surely a ride so epic in every way deserves its own discussion? Spiderman is currently my all-time favourite ride. I remember it being one of the focuses of a theme park documentary I was watching a good 10 years back, showing behind the scenes footage and also footage of the ride itself...and when the famous finale to the ride was displayed, my mind was blown. Consequently, in the summer of 2008, I finally had the chance to give this a ride once and for all! SPOILERS:

Nigloland is a theme park in north-eastern France. From the looks of it, there's nothing particularly 'special' about the place; just your standard, fun theme park. However, next year sees the addition of a Mack Megacoster - Alpina Blitz. I expect most people are aware how awesome Mack's Megacoasters look, and this one is no different: (All images from Nigloland) Looks like another fun coaster from Mack!

Ocean Kingdom is a park in china which is themed to the ocean(as you can tell!) and has 3 coasters including a wing rider! More infomation here! Discuss the park here http://rcdb.com/8991.htm

  14. A surprise recently when I got the chance to ride the Boulder Dash at Lake Compounce. Always had wanted this and suddenly, there I was. This is a brilliant wooden roller coaster that ascends a climb hill through trees across boulder strewn terrain, to then descend around the wooded hill then hug it's contours. Racing between the trees, and bobbing around corners reaching speeds of 60mph. Great airtime and with speed at low level it creates a fantastic ride. Hope I'm allowed to post this link?

  17. Bit of a long shot... but off to Sunny Beach in Bulgaria in less than 3 weeks now (excited is an understatement), and was pleasantly surprised to find out that there is a fun park there called Luna Park with a rollercoaster and some other rides. Just wondering if anyone has ever been before and know what it's like, as well as price wise etc. as I've heard from reviews it's pretty dear, but they haven't said prices.

If you ever get a chance. This is a very small family park in Connecticut, North America, with a great water park and lake, but a fabulous woodie named Wooden Warrior. This has a very small footprint, only cost one million dollars and is a fabulous wooden roller coaster. http://www.wfsb.com/video?autoStart=true&topVideoCatNo=default&clipId=10278178

I couldn't find a topic about Parc Bagatelle, a small theme park in North France. Anyone ever been? What are your views? I went there a few years ago. I loved it, but their main ride, Le Triops, an inverted boomerang was closed EDIT: Changed the location from West to North

Adventure World is a small theme park in Perth Australia that is getting something rather large for November this year. A Gerstlauer Eurofighter which will be almost identical in layout to Saw. The guy from Adventure World clearly loves Saw as he has ridden it a few times and feels it will offer a great thrilling experience. A little video on the new ride, some nice clips of Saw plus the music, and a look at the manufacturing process at Gerstlauer. The indoor section (I'm guessing it will be enclosed) is already complete and does replicate Saw's (pictures from Adventure World's FB page). All very interesting and if they can make it so that there is no jol…

  23. not sure whether anyone has ever been to ocean park but does who have here is the discussion. Ocean park is located in Hong Kong, for those who don't know, and it has two parts to its park. One up in the mountains, and one below. To get up to the mountain, there are Cable cars, and those who are a bit scared or like a different experience can go on the train. heres a POV of there newest ride, Hair Raiser a B&M Floorless Coaster, (not taken by me): And in my opinion the best few rides there: There log flume is very good, better than loggers in terms of thrill. it has two hills as much as I can remember. First one is very similar to the one in loggers, howeve…

Flying Turns is probably one of the more infamous bobsled coasters to come from America. A custom made ride by Knoebels in Pennsylvania, the coaster has been plagued by problem after problem after problem, and has been under construction since 2006. However, yesterday, pigs flew after the ride had finally opened!
