Hello, I'll be visiting Thorpe Park tomorrow and need to know quickly (in the next few hours) whether the ban on "cameras and phones on rides" which know exists at the majority of theme parks run by Merlin applies just to while on the rides, or does it extend to the whole park (lets say photographing a ride, family photo or attraction from the ground)? It would be good to have an answer as soon as possible...

Hi, just a quick question here. I will be visiting the AP preview on thursday and have a booked place and ticket. I was wondering if they look at both your ticket and your pass or just your ticket. My reason being that I dont want loads of non ap holders turning up on the night who have tickets(as you didn't need your pass number to book), therefore increasing wait times. If anyone went last year and could tell me roughly how the event ran as a whole it would be really appreciated.

Got a while yet til it needs renewing (January) but I've just had a thought and out of interest would like to know... so basically we got the Premium annual passes in the january sale which as a family of 3 adults allowed us to get them what worked out £99each... So if one of us wants to renew, does that mean all 3 of us have to, or is the renewal price quite expensive, and you just buy a pass in the january sale? I'm a bit confused really as it's the first merlin pass I've had.. any help would be appreciated

I also want to buy my ride photos but don't really want the physical copy. I know you can get the download with a print but it costs like £6. I wish they sold digital downloads for like £3 odd quid as I'm sure most people would buy this and they would make money of it... Sorry if there is something like this already couldn't find anything

I've just booked tickets to the Thorpe Park Fright Night preview. It asked me how many tickets I wanted so I selected 6. Me & my husband are pass holders as are our 2 children. The kids obviously won't be coming but I booked 6 thinking that our friends could comebut do they need to be pass holders too? Do they ask for your pass as well or do you just need the tickets?

Hi Guys, My premium pass is up for renewal on 24 September and I'm only going to Fright Nights once this year so hardly worth paying £111 renewal to then only spend one day at TP and then it closes 5 months and only get 6 months out of the pass. I see that the premium passes full price is £199 - which is a big jump from £111 renewal! When the sales come out in Jan 2015 how much are the premium passes? Do they come down in price much? Wondering whether I should purchase one then - but I guess again I'm only getting 6 months use of it because I can't use it until March and then only until Oct/Nov but at least I would have Fright nights included again.... What…

HiI really want to apply to Thorpe Park, and I notice that applications are currently open. I am 15 at the moment although I will be 16 in June. Am I allowed to apply now and then if I get an interview would I be permitted to specify that I'd be able to work part-time during the summer period (I'll be 16 then)?

Hi all, I was wondering what your top ten rides at thorpe park were, this is including rollercoasters, flat rides and water rides. I thought it would be fun to compare! Anyway here's mine: 1. Slammer- I love this ride especially on the right hand side, the ride is amazing and will hate to see it go. Love the feeling of free falling. 2. The Swarm- The ride has got so much more intense and forceful over the past couple of years and I really enjoy it much more than I used to. 3. Saw: The ride- I love this ride, it always feels like it has a long ridetime and I love both the indoor and outdoor sections. The elements are really fun and enjoyable and I never find it too rou…

Hi everyone, I was planning to visit thorpe in the busiest week of summer when they are trailing reserve and ride. I was also looking forward to the sunscream event as I went last year and there was some nice entertainment on but it appears that it isn't returning? Can anyone confirm this as it would be a shame to have no entertainment in the busiest week of the year! Thanks to all.

I've only ever used single rider queues at Alton Towers and I think they're great! I never went to Thorpe park at the time when they were using the single rider ques for some of the rides. Every time I've seen or asked why they got rid of it they've always said people misused it. I just saw this on Facebook replying to someone. How were people misusing the system? The system is for people who are willing to ride alone, I don't see how it can be misused? Also how did this lead to slowing down the queue for everyone else?

Long time lurker, first time poster. I'm hoping to return to TP during a weekend in July, but I'll most likely be on my own. As such I think I'll want to skip the longer queues with a fast track, but I've never used them before. I saw the full throttle ticket on the website for the rides I'd most likely be using it on anyway, but when you click through it vaguely mentions specific times. Does this mean when I purchase it I have to appear at the rides at particular times or can I go to them whenever I fancy? Secondly is this actually a wise option, or am I better off purchasing individual tickets during the day? How much do they cost for the main coasters, and are they a…

So I have a merlin Annual pass and there's the family and friends deal on it. Thorpe insists that the cheapest tickets are always online if you book in advance. Which one is cheaper, and does anyone know the prices for this season?
