April 10, 20169 yr comment_232091 Sooo who knew Saw could close due to high winds...? Not me... Or Lewumbrajumbos. Didn't stop the ride team from doing a great job though.

April 10, 20169 yr comment_232093 Saw regularly closes from high winds. The over banked turn is a likely stall point and is the reason it closes in cold temperatures as well. Stealth isn't too much affected from winds, swarm and saw are the worst. Colossus and saw suffer most from temperature.
April 17, 20169 yr comment_232577 A fair amount of the rides at TP close due to high winds, most rides have variations on wind speed but you'd be surprised.
May 2, 20169 yr comment_233885 Saw is still showing as closed on the queue times website, wonder what's up with it?
May 2, 20169 yr comment_233886 It's ****ing windy down here so that might be why. Or they've realised it's not worth keeping open because it's terrible.
May 2, 20169 yr comment_233887 Its been closed for the last few days, and it seems as if they are awaiting a part as it hasn't been testing either.
May 2, 20169 yr comment_233888 Because Saw is a very reliable roller coaster and a high quality ride.
May 2, 20169 yr comment_233889 ^to be fair to it, it's rare for it to be down days at a time - I'm sure it will be back soon
May 2, 20169 yr comment_233903 I went to go ask the staff member that was stood outside why it was down.....however he suddenly burst into a musical number then enthusiastically told a small group of us that we really MUST ride Rocky Express. So yeah I just walked off

May 2, 20169 yr comment_233919 Definitely wasn't Gian (seen him many times working on Saw and know what he looks like) so must have been Thomas. Have to say he was incredibly enthusiastic which is nice to see
May 2, 20169 yr comment_233920 He says things like they're fantastic stories and you're just like wow thank you for my enlightenment you amazing bean

I just loved the way he was SO enthusiastic about Rocky Express - he told us that we simply MUST ride it as it is the only one of its kind in this country?! I just smiled and headed for Rush...
May 2, 20169 yr comment_233925 Guest services said it was the wind on Saturday exceeding its operating limits

May 3, 20169 yr comment_233943 Sea Storm and Rocky Express are different as physiologically possible. Try not to get them mixed up.

May 3, 20169 yr comment_233953 Are they the same type though when the sea storm boats spin and the rocky express ride trains do not?

May 3, 20169 yr comment_233956 Please remember that Wikipedia can be edited by anyone, and if you just do a little research off of that site you'll find that this is, in fact, incorrect. Whilst both models have similar components, Rocky Express' model is actually called 'old train'. As you yourself said, the way the carriages work is slightly different, but this is the difference that makes them different ride types PS If you still don't believe me, look at mack rides website, and find the ride model 'old train'. Rocky is pictured. Before you go to the slaughter house with someone, make sure your facts are right! To get this back on topic, does anyone know if guests (other then in a breakdown) can ever have access to the indoor sections of Saw? A couple of us were curious if it's possible to have access to it as a kind of VIP thing, a bit like how you can go in the ride area for inferno

Obviously it might differ each time as H&S may have changed since then
