So Nemesis at Alton Towers is without a doubt one of the, if not the most intense and amazing ride in the UK. So is it the best invert in the world?

Today Blackpool Council announced £300 million plans to develop the site of the old Central Railway Station into a new entertainment attraction, scheduled to open in 2024. Attractions include: The Flying Theatre Virtual reality experience Alien Diner A Multi-media exhibition Adventure Land Thrill and Gaming Zone There are also plans for hotels, shops, and restaurants to complement the new area. Hi all, hope you are all well. I'm hoping someone can answer this...……………...so here goes as it's bugging me and trying to find a live video that was hopefully uploaded THAT year. Does anyone know which year it was when they did their annual fireworks, which if I'm remember rightly had something to do with a guy riding ''air'' and holding onto his hat and going back in time? So QUEXTREME is returning for its 3rd year this year at Quex Park in Birchington. Having done it every time I can safely say it is probably the scariest of all the horror events I have done. Theres only 3 mazes however each one lasts about 15-20 minutes and you’re sent in small groups. They’re all outside with one being in a cornfield, one a forest and one big one which incorporates different areas and a big, theatrical storyline. Last year one of their mazes was nominated for a scare tour award for most innovative ending; this involved everyone being bundled into a London Black Cab with a stunt driver who flung you around in a field w…

Does anyone know how much bounce back tickets were for next day park entry last year at Alton Towers? Or indeed how much they are likely to be this year?

Carters Steam Fair is the most wonderful travelling vintage fair. It's set up in Maldon today, if you find yourself nearby I thoroughly recommend you go. The rides might be ancient and powered by steam, but don't let that fool you! The Steam Boats are probably the most genuinely dangerous (and therefore properly thrilling) ride operating in the UK, they are incredible. Unfortunately the Divebomber and Giant Octopus aren't touring this year, I'm really going to miss them. Unless I'm being blind there doesn't seem to be a thread for Warick Castle. Does anyone actually go there? Would presume so, what with it being on the MAP. Anyway, they've managed a decent bit of self publicity with this news story. I take it they use some pyro in their shows then?

I think Spinball Whizzer is an overrated ride that gets ridiculous queue times compered to the better spinning coaster at Chessington! It lacks theminmg and is incredibly slow loading! However you get some good air-time and a slightly different ride every time! 8/10

Hello Members of Thorpe Park Mania, I know this isn't really Thorpe park related but it is theme park related. I consider myself to be probably the worlds biggest fan of Trauma Towers, however there is a significant lack of information and photos (particularly of the inside the attraction) online. This is pretty disappointing for me as you might imagine so I decided to create this forum because I would like to see the photos you guys have got of the attraction along with any information you may have of it. I feel that Oblivion is loosing it's magic!! It's way to short. Yeah it brakes at the top and goes into a hole vertically but compared to the new rides of today it is nothing. I would like to compare it with Project Dylan (2009 Thorpe Coaster). I would feel there would be no comparison!

I am intending to visit Alton Towers on the 18th July with some friends, and I would like to know how busy it is around mid July. Do schools go to Alton towers on this day or is this, hopefully, a quiet day? Thanks.

From TowersStreet Facebook today: Alton Towers have submitted plans for a FoodLoop style restaurant in Forbidden Valley, taking the place of the current Air shop. Does this suggest that a new large shop is likely to replace it in the near future...and therefore that a large new ride is imminent for the area? Link to plans Pretty cool, hey! Chessington have been putting alot of new merch out recently, so to go with the Thorpe Park one might as well start a topic! Alot of the new merch has also appeared at Alton and Thorpe, eg. Those weird ride face keyring things and loads of pin badges, however Chessie have put some good stuff out including a lovely magnet feat. Dragon's Fury, Vampire, Black Buccaneer, Kobra, Scorpion Express and Zufari, a new Vampire mug (which is nowhere near as good as the last one), a mug with that promotional image they always use at the start of the adverts and stuff, and alot of Adventure Tree merch. So things are going very well merch wise at Chessington.
