I've just had several great days at Alton Towers.Yet I've been blacking out on Nemesis. I've been on it 5 times.Is it something I should worry about? I've come back from the park a little worried about this and and worried whether this will harm or affect me long-term in my life.The blackouts usually occur as halfway through the helix (or Zero G roll?), after the first corkscrew, and although I "see" white, not black, my vision is usually back as we exit the second corkscrew over the station. This means the ride photo you see of me is during a blackout.The only other ride I get blackouts on is Colossus, it happens as we exit the loop, meaning I miss half the bunnyhop.Is t…

Since Nemesis open in 1994 the UK has not produced a world class coaster. Will any UK park ever produce another world class coaster?

Mod Edit : went way off topic,so split from Dragon Fury topic to a shiny new one... Didn't realise there was a rule on only being allowed to ride twice in a row before having to get off and go back through the queue to health and safety!? We asked the Batcher to go for a 3rd time and she was fine... Then we got to the final section before being sent off and one of the other people on the platform said we cannot ride again and had to stop the ride and get the key to unlock our seats and made us get off. Apart from that annoying rule.. The ride was running amazing and spinning fast!

Are other British Theme Parks going down the drain?Alton: The place is supposed to be number 1 and they cant even get half the things they want right. The Flume, Enterprise and Submission are crap, Gloomy Wood and Katanga Canyon haven't seen development in ages. Adventure Land is crap and UG Land have major theme clashes. what's the worst thing that has happened to you or seen at a theme park? eg. stuck on ride for a long time, no rides open, injuries, waiting in queue because something has happened any thing like that. I have had a couple!

I was just wondering what all your favourite theme park soundtracks/Theme Music is? Like for example I love this roller coaster soundtrack on Euro Mir: and I love Samurai's soundtrack too! So what are your favourite theme park soundtracks, they can be a general theme park track like the one they play at towers street or one off a flat or coaster, you could even say which one you hate! I just want to know because I feel a soundtrack really sets the mood and atmosphere for the ride!

Hey, so I LOVE the Halloween event at Thorpe Park, I have been to theirs now for a couple of years but have never tried out any other parks Halloween events. Which UK Theme Park is the best for Halloween events? I think Thorpe Parks event is amazing and I love how they smoke the park out in the evening and the horror mazes, but can another park out do them? So today Mack rides announced they have been testing with Oculus Rif on rides Blue Fire and Pegasus in Europa-Park. Is this a future in theme parks or is it just going to stay a test? Looks awesome, I would love to try it.

I was just wondering how everyone else feels about the current state of the theme park industry in the UK? My thoughts are that with the majority of theme parks and attractions including the top 3 theme parks in the UK there is a distinct lack of competition in the UK's theme park industry that would find in other countries say for example in Europe or America, I feel like if they were under different ownership things would be much better for theme park industry in the country as currently in honesty I am not entirely satisfied with how they have run the three parks, the key points that make me feel it would be better for the countries theme park industry if the parks we…
