The new maze is without a doubt the best of them all, and the two times that I went through, I was taken in different different directions. It's hard to explain without spoiling it, but it really plays on a few fears!

Anyone else getting withdrawal symptoms or is it just me? It isn't even so much the roller coasters and rides I miss as a whole; but the theme tune as you arrive and walk down the bridge, the iconic themed music to each ride, the scenery around the park, I don't know what it is but I visited a fair amount of times last season, 3 or 4 times over Halloween and loved it each and every time. I need an adrenaline fix asap. #2020.

As you may well know, I have been getting a lot of stick recently for my dislike of Nemesis Inferno. This is a poll and topic to discuss your thoughts on the B&M Invert and to see how popular it really is on TPM!

OK, we all know the recession is in full swing, and money is tight, but with the right tips, you can still have a great day out at thorpe park, and save some money as well, so lets discuss our ways of saving money if you have them...Post your ideas here, I'll start the ball going...If you are coming to thorpe from London, and getting the train from waterloo, SouthWest Trains do a deal, that includes Standard class rail travel, entrance fee to the park and bus transfer for £29 (last time I checked), which is really a no brainer if you don't have the passes.

Give me some of your most controversial Thorpe Park opinions. I'll go first... Logger's Leap was a mediocre log flume and the only reason why people miss it is because they're afraid of change.

At the risk of someone on here taking umbrage at having to glimpse real life and getting this topic locked - this woman, obviously well suited to the tabloid press, alleges she was humiliated and forced to parade in front of hundreds of park guests, because she could not be safely fitted into a harness on Colossus, having walked past the test seat to join the queue.............. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3863156/They-know-not-B-cup-Mother-one-banned-Thorpe-Park-ride-Colossus-36L-BREASTS.html#newcomment

The Discovery Channel documentary about John Wardley that was filmed last summer at Thorpe Park is being shown next month on the UK Quest Channel (Freeview channel 38). It is in the "World's Strangest Jobs" series. Provisional dates and times are 17, 19, 21 or 22 July, but this might change. It is the documentary that John mentioned in his autobiography, and features Emma Bassett, whose life was saved by a ride on Colossus!

Continuing the series, vote for what you think of Detonator. Detonator, was one of three new rides for the 2001 season. Initially it seems small, especially when compared with Stealth, but first impressions can be deceptive!Vote and Discuss your vote here!

Hi Just to advise everyone that Thorpe park is having power issues today. There has been one power outage that appeared to take out the whole park and another blip that could have caused an issue as well but I was inside so can't tell. Hopefully the team will get it sorted but apparently they also had a power issue yesterday (got that from a shop assistant)

Seeing that the Swarm came tops, I thought I'd do another poll similar but this time which coaster everyone likes the best in the dark/night time at Thorpe. Things to consider your choice/s are Coherence to the theme Lighting (as too much ruins the effect) Interaction to surroundings (at night)

Today at THORPE PARK they are filming their summer advert, is this a thing they usually do because I don't remember them having a separate one? They tweeted earlier that they have just finished filming on Depth Charge, this could be trying to show how THORPE PARK is suitable for all ages as they have changed their target audience recently. If anyone has any pictures/videos of the filming post here please.

If Wicked Witches Haunt hadn't burnt down, what do you think its future would've been? Personally, I think it would have remained in the same format but become a shooting Dard Ride like Tomb Blaster at Chessington and the closed Duel at Alton Towers. I believe Duel and Wicked Witches Haunt would have been almost identical. I feel the only diffrences would have been the facades, transit systems and vehicles. I'd like to hear what you think the lost future of Wicked Witches Haunt would have been.

Continuing the long running 'what do you think of a ride' competition, this time we get to the 2006 ride Stealth at Thorpe Park.Opening on the 14th March 2006, Stealth when opened was to be the parks icon ride. Featuring a 205 foot top-hat and an 80 mile per hour launch, there is no doubt that part of Thorpe Park's continuing success is this short but sweet, Intamin rollercoaster. But is it any good? You decide but remember, it isn't just the ride that is important, it's everything around it. Is the soundtrack adequate, does the theming match up to the ride experience.

What a frightening thought, but one of the ride operators asked me yesterday "what if your favourite ride didn't exist, what would you ride?" Now, I had nightmares last night. I think this is the first time I've ever been asked and if a person has one particular favourite ride, and it did not exist, then logically the next would become that persons favourite. However, if your favourite does exist, and then it did not, it is an odd thought. Well for me anyway.

Hi as Old Town has closed,I would like to know what people think should happen to Rocky and what is actually happening with it. I have heard that Rocky has been sold if this is true I think a small Theme Park like Camel Creek should purchase it. Please post your theories, opinions and any rumours you have heard here.

Any extra payment is annoying but if one only pops into TP for a few hours, which I know quite a few people do, they have to now pay the extra for FN days. TP/Merlin have increased the "event" days and reduced the open days in between this year and especially in the last month. This is really annoying as if one only wants to ride, it costs £15 a day extra. I doubt I am the only one who is annoyed by this. I do know one person who went there every day, but never rode anything.

So now that the majority of TPM members have had their chance to ride The Swarm, please vote here on what you think of Thorpe Park's newest rollercoaster. Was it worth the wait, does the rides theming blow you away or does the shortness of the layout make you feel unsatisfied.Vote now
