April 19, 20169 yr comment_232793 This waiting is very frustrating. Even if I don't get tickets, I still will go. I don't know if I will be too scared to do the ride though. I would be allowed but to what level will it be scary? Th13teen, Duel of even worse! I believe it will be much scarier than Duel certainly. The age limit is similar to that of horror mazes so I expect that If you can do horror mazes you will probably be able to do this.
April 19, 20169 yr comment_232794 Especially with the 12 alternative VR expiriences, not knowing what you're going to get and knowing you won't have the same as your friend will make the whole thing more tense! if you're slightly worried, keep an eye out for reviews that don't contain spoilers.
April 19, 20169 yr comment_232795 Never done any scare attractions. The scariest as horror concepts go is Th13teen for me. Never done saw. I might not do DBGT but I am very interested to see what the ride actually does as I have followed this chat from day 1. What if fracking was to do with Tidal Wave? That water tower always makes me think of getting oil.

With 12 alternative experiences I kinda hope you get split up from your group...
April 19, 20169 yr comment_232812 With 12 alternative experiences I kinda hope you get split up from your group... If it's not something that happens normally it would be a good shout for Fright nights!
April 19, 20169 yr comment_232822 I doubt they'd want to be splitting groups on a year round major attraction, it seriously hampers throughput and cause aggro. Perfectly fine for seasonal scare attractions but on an attraction that operates daily, I feel that it is unreasonable.
April 19, 20169 yr comment_232823 If you class wearing a VR headset as being split up then you're in luck!
April 20, 20169 yr comment_232856 Completely irrelevant and random but New retail unit on the beach: Queue wall of DBGT:
April 20, 20169 yr comment_232858 I'm on park today so will try and get as many snaps of Ghost train updates as I can Edit: Ok so I don't know if I'm just really slow at realising this , but one of the shelves in the derren brown shop rotates ! , it was insane !! April 20, 20169 yr comment_232864 ^ That has been mentioned in previous posts and many videos after the shop opened
April 20, 20169 yr comment_232870 Ah ok my bad ! Haha ! Anyway , it all looks like it has been coming along swimmingly for the 6th !
April 20, 20169 yr comment_232871 A couple of photos from today: Couple of these signs have been put up. Possibly a good sign that the ride will be opening on time; what's the point of directing people to a ride's entrance which won't be opening for a long time? Don't know if this is new or something I just haven't seen before? Sorry for blurriness, but there's loads of these corner supports in the queue now. Nothing else of note to mention. Train carriage (if it's still outside) is completely covered so you can't see a thing!
April 20, 20169 yr comment_232883 16 days isn't really too early to be honest, and at the end of the day there's no such thing as bad publicity!
April 20, 20169 yr comment_232886 Just so excited for the ride ! , it was SOOO tantalising having to walk past it today not being able to go inside ! I defiantly think they will have the 3 main stages of modern for the queue and going maybe back into Victorian times for the VR and then the tube for the main portion of the ride , that perhaps falls down a hole or something , that leads us to what is underground ( hence the whole fracking thing ) . That's my prediction anyway , haha Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

April 21, 20169 yr comment_232909 Short video Thorpe have just uploaded promoting the Ghost Train shop a bit more! https://m.youtube.com/watch?feature=youtu.be&v=NZCSOxi1eBw A bit late for thorpe to say that the shop is now open, but at least some more of the theme has been released.
April 21, 20169 yr comment_232911 Interesting, first time I've ever seen a promotional video for a gift shop! Nice work
April 21, 20169 yr comment_232937 Short video Thorpe have just uploaded promoting the Ghost Train shop a bit more! I see this as some sort of get out clause for the ride not opening on time.
April 21, 20169 yr comment_232939 they wouldn't of put up the derren browns ghost train this way sign if there weren't sure it was going to open on time... a bit like the sign on the entrance! it wouldn't still be up if they didn't think it was gonna open on time
April 21, 20169 yr comment_232940 I see people's concerns given that Smiler was planned to open on 23rd May 2013 until the 22nd May. However, given some of the unfavourable publicity Thorpe received from the 12p ticket thing, plus there still being a close eye on Merlin from last year, I would assume that if it were to be delayed, they would announce it within a reasonable time frame.
April 21, 20169 yr comment_232941 The one thing I don't understand tho is when did it become a merlin trend to open rides 2 months into the season =/. It seems to be a new and reoccurring theme.
