TowersStreet have posted that the plans for a 'hotel extension / third hotel' have been posted online today. Based on the plans, it will - Be located behind ATH, at the other side of the garden - Include a new garden development - Feature its own reception, toilets, bar and new 204-seat buffet restaurant Great to see!

Plans have been submitted for a 20 acre theme park in Llanelli, Wales. It would Neighbor Oakwood and have 26 rides and around 7 rollercoasters. From the look of it on the map( see link) it looks like a Vekoma Stingray!

I thought I would start an oakwood topic as I feel it is a good theme park!

I feel that Oblivion is loosing it's magic!! It's way to short. Yeah it brakes at the top and goes into a hole vertically but compared to the new rides of today it is nothing. I would like to compare it with Project Dylan (2009 Thorpe Coaster). I would feel there would be no comparison!

Hey everyone. I know thorpe does the on ride photo pass but does chessington do it? I'm planning to go in a few weeks and I was just wondering if they have a photo pass option as I dont wanna spend tons of money on photos!

As this is a kind of general topic, I was unsure where to put it, I decided upon Chessington as I feel they are the biggest offender.Does anyone else find the opening times of the majority of our parks really frustrating?The whole month of August Chessington closes at 6! The likelihood is that opening will be extended but even so, that is just ridiculous. This is happening at the same time, as Legoland, with a younger target audience is closing at 8!I just find it irritating how early the park closes...

I was wondering if anyone here had been to Paradise Wildlife Park. Its a nice little well themed zoo in Broxbourne with a train ride (used to be Thomas, not anymore) around dinosaurs and real wolves and foxes, as well as some nice little play areas. It has lions, tigers, leopards, cheetahs, all that sort of stuff then it has goats, pigs, sheep, rams, it also has birds bats and it has the World Speedway Museum (FIM Speedway, Google it if you dont already know it, it's a great sport). Pasaje Del Terror is a Horror maze franchise which started back in 1988. there are many in Europe and South America. there is one in the UK at Blackpool Pleasure Beach and there used to be one in London at Piccadilly. There used to be one in the USA called Terror on Church Street. the original creator of Pasaje was a man named Fernando Quenard and the very first Pasaje was located in Mar del Plata, Argentina. The Thompsons bought the Pasaje franchise in around 1993-1998 and has been running for about 20 years now(the Blackpool attraction). the Pasaje usually lasts about 10-15 minutes and has many famous horror movie characters which try to scare you during the journey. it…

I dont know if this has been answered anywhere else but in quite a few of chessies old maps there is a tiny mark next to Black Buccanear saying Peg Leg Pete, who was this Pete and did he have a story around him. I am guessing its like the Dragon outside dragons Fury that lived around Dragon Falls for a while. Is Pete still at the park??

Hi guys, A really late question (as I'm going tomorrow) but can anyone tell me any information on the photo pass this year. I know when I went last year it was £20 for 5 photos and I got 20% off with my premium pass. Is this the same this year or has it changed? Thanks jjh123horry

I'm mainly talking about places to stay and eat here - but it doesn't matter. There's a nice little village called Kingsley Holt, specifically a nice little modern cottage which we make an annual trip to - one road village with a lovely community, two pubs (The Blacksmith Arms, which is closer and The Railway [Inn?]), the latter serving wonderful food and is owned by nice people (who used to own the other pub on our first two trips). 15 minutes away from Towers by car, 1-2 hours, 15 minutes in the other direction is Stoke and Birmingham, Manchester is about 1-2 hours away and there are LOADS of football grounds (Stoke, Birmingham, West Brom, Walsall, Villa wh…

hi. so when you all go to chessington where do you eat?. and what do you think of the prices and the quality of the food (I'm gonna get a mod to do 1 of these threads for thorpe!) personally, I love eating at the chicken place in the forbidden kingdom- it's so tasty... I love that kind of chicken I also eat at burger king sometimes- though I strongly dissagree with chessington getting rid of mcdonalds.. I do prefer that
