  1. Started by paige,

I should be getting a Thorpe Annual Pass in a few weeks but the renewal seems to cost more than buying the pass brand new, but that doesn't seem to be the case with Merlin Annual Passes. Does anyone know why this is? The answer is probably blindingly obvious but it's always confused me haha.

  4. Hello, I attended Thorpe Park Fright Nights on Saturday the 15th of October and It was raining for over 1hr and 2 rides were shut and Blair Witch delayed and on the website it states Saturday 15th October 2016 was a Rainy Day so can I get a ticket for a another day of Fright Nights?

Hi guys How many people have got these? I'm going on Sat 2 Nov with a group of us (6) and I'm worried about the 2 hour long queues being half term and the last Saturday fright nights is running. Has anyone been after Halloween is it generally quieter or is it manic? I'm happy to get the directors cut fast track but does it really have to be from 3pm? Was hoping to get there a little later because of getting the fast track lol Also anyone who has had these on a busy night how long did you wait maximum to get on the maze? X Thanks!

  6. Can we wear flip flops and let the breeze flow between our toes? Or would that make everyone FLIP out?!

  7. Hi all, I'm planning on taking some friends to Thorpe Park & Legoland, and am planning to use the family and friends discount through the Merlin pass. However, I was wondering how many people maximum you are allowed to use it for as I'm planning to bring two people with me (neither of which are pass holders).

Well I'm taking 3 of my friends to Thorpe park in a couple of weeks and neither of them have ever been before. One friend is ok with all the rides but the other 2 aren't. So far, I've managed to convince them both to go on Colossus, Nemesis Inferno and The Swarm but neither of them want to go on Stealth or Saw. 1 friend (lets call her friend 1) has been told by her mum that Stealth is 'unsafe'. I told her that all the foundations were fine but there was a 1 in like a million chance that you might get hit by a bird of something during the launch (this happened to my cousin by the way) if you sit in the front row. She seems adamant to not go on it, but once she's been on it…

Does Stealth or Ghost Train have set opening days or times? I live 350 miles away from Thorpe Park so it's an expensive trip out for us with hotel stay needed. We have been three times now and each time Stealth was closed and on the last visit Ghost Train was closed too.

Just seen on the news that Staines and Chertsey are at risk of flooding. Could Thorpe be at risk? I'm sure it wouldnt be anything drastic but its worth a thought with the amount of rain falling at the moment :s Anyone know if this could be a problem?

I bought a Annual Pass today online and I have two questions. is a bus pass an acceptable form of ID to pick it up (it has my photo on) and also When I collect it at the park can I get it on the day I pick it up and start using it or do I have to fill out forms and have my photo taken on the day and then get my pass a few weeks later??

  13. Started by Doc,

Hey. I'am currently trying to purchase either a Thorpe Park/Alton Tower T shirt or hoodie for someone, but was wondering if there was any way I could get one online. I would usually try and get one from the park itself but I doubt I am going there until later this year and by then, it would be too late. I know this is very unlikely, but I thought it may at least be worth a shot. Thanks.

Hello, we are planning our first visit ever to Thorpe Park on Saturday 26 October. We are more interested in the big rides than the mazes. I know it will be busy, but do you think it is advised to get a Fasttrack pass? Or will the queues for the big rides be ok-ish, since most people want to visit the mazes?

I'm not sure if anyone would know... I got tickets for the summer nights on friday 2nd august, which gates open at 7 and rides 7.30... I am also planning to go in the day, and seen that the park closes at 7. so how do thorpe park know who to let on the rollercoasters after 7.30 etc. if I am already in the park? and as you don't have to pay for parking for the summer event, if I stay there all day and for the summer nights thing I don't have to pay for parking. so confused. any help would be grateful, thanks.

Hiya Guys and Gals, I gonna be coming up to Thorpe for opening day, but its my first time using the thorpe bus service, so Ive got a couple of questions. 1) How much does it cost for a return fair? 2) Can someone explain the departures bit to me on this site, I'm only gonna be at the park for a couple of hours because Ill be going to London Dungeons later in the afternoon, so do the buses actually take people back from thorpe park to the station before 3:30pm? http://www.thorpepark.com/downloads/plan-your-visit/bus-950-timetable.pdf 3) How long does the journey take roughly, so I get to the train station on time. Thanks jjh123horry

Hello,Can I Find Taxi Around The Thorpe Park?

  19. Hey guys as some of you know I contribute to another online forum Pleasure beach experience that's dedicated to Blackpool Pleasure Beach and what comes up a lot on there recently is that supposedly Thorpe Park had a bad year in 2012 and that The Swarm was a failure? http://www.pleasurebeachexperience.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=8&p=58409#p58409 Having not heard anything official if there anything about a bad year? I just wondered your thoughts and if someone could maybe give me any insight into what there claiming?

This isn't me going over another topic, but today my friend is at thorpe park and they were in the swarm queue and supposedly something fell off it again. Basically the island has been evacuated so before it hits the tabloids again, what do you think it is?

  21. Hey guys, so I have a premium annual pass (merlin) and I am taking 2 friends to thorpe park on the second of september. I booked tickets through the family and friends passholder perk, and we bought fastpasses. I wasnt aware that chessington had early ride times, but they bought it up. I now know that both chessington and Alton towrs have ERT, but I was wondering if thorpe park does, and if (through the way I booked the tickets) my friends can have it too? Thanks!

I'm really wary of leaving my bag in theme parks whilst on ride. It's okay when they have wristbands and lockers to pickup your stuff at the end, but for some rides, you just chuck your possessions in a box. If I wore a bum bag (The fitted ones round the hip) would I still be asked to take it off on rides or would I be able to get away with it?

Hi, I am visiting Thorpe park next weekend however I am a bit on the large side and wondering if anyone from past experience has any advice. I am about 48/9 inch chest and 6ft2inch and around 21stone. I know on the website it says about torso size but what seems to do it for me is my legs. Thanks for your help
