JoshC.
https://www.thorpepark.com/rides/loggers-leap/ Â 404 error on the old ride page too.
Coaster
Surely they would have said something if the ride was up for removal? Â Even if only in the last week, to give people the option to get their last rides on it? Â What could possibly fit on the Loggers site anyway? Â Considering that there's a massive lake in the middle of it, I can't see there being many options of rides able to fit there.
Matt 236
This tunnel inside me is empty. The evidence seems to build.

OldFarmerDean
a log flume is a signature ride... it will be a shame there won't be one in 2016... but they will replace or it keep and give it a major refurb... I'm still waiting for an RMC to fit around the train track and loggers, perfect canadian theme dragon2000
pluk
So glad I took that last day of the season opportunity now! OldFarmerDean
Morgan.B
No! They can't get rid of Loggers Leap. For a traditional log-flume it's a soaker. You get wet enough to feel soggy and refreshed, whereas Tidal Wave is every man for himself. A log flume is a traditional staple of modern day theme-parks. I would be gutted if TP lost LL. However, I wouldn't be sad if Towers lost their Flume Craaig
Jack F
If Loggers doesn't return next year, and is left to rust like CCR, I will be very annoyed. If they don't close that area, With one ride which is awesome but never attracts much crowds, I will be depressed as it would no longer look like (an unthemed) Canada and more like the middle of an abandoned village... HermanTheGerman
And there goes one of only four decent rides as Thorpe Park. What a shame, I had a bit of a soft spot for Loggers, and Canada Creek as a whole. Probably is time for an update though...
JoshuaA
If Loggers does leave it can hopefully take The Flume down with it. Gotta say a RMC or a GCI Woodie would fit loveley into Loggers place.
TraX
Well they could always re-drag up the 'proposed' B&M flyer that was to swoop over the lake (yeh right..) Â Loggers is such a great log flume, as already mentioned, farr better than the flume. Fingers crossed that it is a heavy fix up and clean up of theme, rather than a God awful Merlin re-theme/modernization. Jack F

MattyMoo
Of course this could mean it's just closed for 2016 and coming back in 2017. Â But it goes backwards. Kerfuffle and OldFarmerDean

OldFarmerDean
After tweeting them yesterday saying RIP loggers leap... Thorpe have replied saying it should only be closed for 2016 season....
alexander
But why are they closing it for the whole of 2016????
GladiatorFanKyle
Thank god they are only closing it for 2016. it must be having a massive refurb to make it cleaner and more reliable
Ryan
But why are they closing it for the whole of 2016???? Cost cutting probably, much rather it be Loggers than Slammer/X!
OldFarmerDean
It's probably due to its unreliability and to give it a proper refurb.... But going by Merlin, and chessington's runaway train / scorpion express project... Loggers will probably stay closed all of next Season with no work done to it, and then everything will be done last minute the following closed season. Kerfuffle
Loggers is an old (OLD) ride now, so I'm very happy for its closure next year! Besides, it must mean we'll be seeing a tunnel in 2017! OldFarmerDean and slendercat
holtjammy16
Sad to see it closed for a year as I really do like loggers  hopefully they'll give it a bit of a clean, it has got a tad grubby
JoshuaA
Its good to see its not totally dead. Not a fan of Log Flumes but Loggers Leap is one of my favorites. Its better than The Flume anyway..
Coaster
I can understand it having some time out for maintenance, but a year seems excessive. Hopefully it'll be more than just a cleanup and involve a complete overhaul - I'm expecting a lot if it's going to take a whole season!
