Mattgwise
I can't wait to ride it just a shame that europa park only has good coaster not flat rides Europa is simply awesome in every other way that you won't even think of the flat rides. Inferno
Inkeeping with Th13teen or not, this looks absolutely awful... What were they thinking!
pluk
Tragic. Surely this can not be necessary? But if it really is this can not be the best solution.
Benin
The best solution would be to remove the piece of crap in the area, and then there won't be a need for the scaffolding... Coaster
MattyMoo
Dear lord... what's this all in aid of? (Sorry for asking!) EDIT: Just scrolled back a page! Safety concerns in case the launch cable snaps.
Kerfuffle
I find Rita has an excellent layout, but why is it that it LOOKS smooth, but when you're on it, its basically a big metal DEATH TRAP

OldFarmerDean
So much love for Rita today... 3 rides, 2 front & 1 back... All amazing, pretty smooth (well as smooth as intamin get lol), and just felt really forceful and kept it's speed through the whole ride which I've never felt before... Hmm! I must admit it did seem better when I rode it back in August than it ever has been before. Still don't rate it very highly personally as I find it dull unless I'm in the back seats. It just became amazing today, probably my best ride of the day, although saying that all the rides were running amazingly well (not including breakdowns lol) today in comparison to past visits. So probably my best visit to Alton yet this year Coaster
pognoi
I never understood how people find it rough. Smooth as inferno to me xD

HermanTheGerman
I retract my earlier statement. I had the most unbearingly rough ride on Colossus today. OldFarmerDean and Kerfuffle
Cal
I retract my earlier statement. I had the most unbearingly rough ride on Colossus today. If you find Colossus really rough, I'd recommend trying front row. It makes such a difference. Kerfuffle and OldFarmerDean
HermanTheGerman
Oh I know, the front few carriages are fine.. On my latest visit I got the back row for the bad train. Absolute hell.
RubyRed95
Nothing I have ever ridden is rougher than Colossus, but SAW is a close second. I mean I LOVE Colossus its one of my favourites and I reaaallyy don't care if rides are rough or smooth so long as they are somewhat intense. But Rita has always seemed fine to me- a little rough in places, yes, but far from horrendous. I like it, its a good launch coaster and while it is by no means my favourite on park (that title goes to Nemmy <3) it is clearly very popular. pognoi, Kerfuffle, MattyMoo and 1 other
pluk
In my experience it's very much a restraint problem, makes it close to unbearable for me. I'm well aware that's because I'm a little chunky, and it's got steadily worse the bigger I've got. MattyMoo

Sorry Ruby - I really don't like Rita, it's the uncomfortable offspring of the beautiful (and much adored by me) Stealth! I tolerate it at Alton Towers but don't enjoy it. You're right though, it's not up there with Colossus in terms of uncomfort!

I love stealth so much, ridden it am unholy amount of times this year whereas I've ridden Rita once. After I've ridden Rita it somehow magically tricks me into going 'oh that was good, that was longer than stealth so it must be better...' but then when I get back on stealth it's like 'NO I WAS WRONG I'm SO SORRY I bETRAYED you!!!' xD OldFarmerDean, Whiteknuckle, Altitude and 1 other
