March 16, 201411 yr comment_178546 They should have had Storm Surge Next to Inferno thus keeping octopus gardens and not ruining the Skyline They should have kept Storm Surge in Florida where people don't care about sitting in paddling pools fully clothed because its warm...
March 19, 201411 yr comment_178766 For the record, they've followed through with fixing the ear splitting lift conveyer squeek, it's leaking even more than usual now though....
March 19, 201411 yr comment_178773 Come summer, people will be swarming around those leaks to cool off . An IT lecturer has taught me "there is no such things as flaws or bugs, they are just features"... So remember that next time a ride breaks down, that's a feature
June 22, 201411 yr comment_185652 Its unique. But pretty bad I got on it straight away. And what a laugh. We all needed a break. Go on storm surge. Its nice thorpe are thinking about kids with angry birds as well now.
July 6, 201411 yr comment_186394 all the effects on storm surge are back up and running now Are the gripping spinner pads back too? They're the only thing that can help this pile be close to enjoyable.

July 6, 201411 yr comment_186396 all the effects on storm surge are back up and running now That's good, it's been a while. Has it got the queue line audio yet?
July 6, 201411 yr comment_186416 We waited 40+ minutes to go on this the other week. There were pads to give spin but is was pretty dull. The staff were talking with each other and gave the impression they were not interested in the riders. However they also had to spend a huge amount of time emptying the boats of water. Overall a bit wet.
July 6, 201411 yr comment_186418 That's good, it's been a while. Has it got the queue line audio yet? it normally has queue line audio but its really quiet
July 9, 201411 yr comment_186667 Always wondered why they didn't just connect the WWTP Radio, Amity Side loop up to the speakers in Storm Surge's queue line, would be far better than that irritating nonsense that they play.
July 9, 201411 yr comment_186670 Dunno why we're all complaining about minor topics...just tear down that pile of crap and be done with it!

I actually quite like the Storm Surge music (probably about the only thing I do like about the ride...). It's just a shame you can hardly ever hear it over the noise the lift hill makes...

It's just a shame you can hardly ever hear it over the noise the lift hill makes... I've never heard it, I just thought they didn't play it. But I've never actually queued for Storm Surge. I'll only ever go on it if it's just re opened or it has no queue. Do they play it in the station? Never heard it there
July 10, 201411 yr comment_186752 It currently plays in the ride area. If you said by the fencing near the pipes you should be able to hear it.
August 27, 201411 yr comment_189856 Why can't Storm Surge have stayed where it was? I'm pretty sure it would blend in PERFECTLY if it were at Legoland Florida! That thing stands out like a sore thumb nowadays, surrounded by rides/scenery that are meant to have a storm-struck appearance!
August 27, 201411 yr comment_189857 According to wikipedia, it is a fairground ride set up to make use of the flood waters at Amity Bay. But I f they destroyed it, not only would it be better for the park, it would be better for themeing!
August 27, 201411 yr comment_189858 it is a fairground ride set up to make use of the flood waters at Amity Bay. That better explain the hillbilly theme!

They should have just got a twister and made it look flood damaged
November 15, 201410 yr comment_197385 South Parks said that Storm Surge is gonna be relocated, but where?
November 15, 201410 yr comment_197386 South Parks said that Storm Surge is gonna be relocated, but where? I can't see anywhere on SP they've said that? If it were moving, we'd see have seen a planning application by now, not to mention work on SS being dismantled.
November 15, 201410 yr comment_197390 Donate it to Paramount London as a welcome gift. They'd then 'donate' it to a scrapheap because they'd have some sense.
November 15, 201410 yr comment_197393 Maybe they plan to sink it in the Atlantic. That would be a vast improvement.
