TraX
It always felt like it should belong on the Swarm island anyway. The post about it being removed to hold a queue line is an interesting one. Either way, I hope it gets reused, rather than dumped elsewhere, like the Stealh police car did, until it found another awkward home at Storm Surge. Coaster
If they went any slower on Swarm they would be going backwards! Never seen it operated so poorly, stacking for well over a minute usually and staff checking belts look like they are about to fall asleep! Should be as quick as possible. Not like they have a 45 minute queue to clear or anything...

Mattgwise
Unlucky. It was being operated efficiently last Sunday on two trains and that was with virtually no queue. Coaster

Aaron Tuckwell
At fright nights last night... love Swarm in the dark... But.... behold... what is this I see? 9pm and an advertised 60 minute queue but not a single soul in said 60 minute queue... With fast track outlets pushing to sell it as it's the "longest queue by far on park"? Surely not. For shame Thorpe, For shame.

JTE25
Don't think this has been posted anywhere on here before. Best viewed on YouTube on a smart phone or tablet (other than at the park obviously). Click the link rather than playing on this page. Enjoy. Mitchada04
Is Swarm going to be all forwards again this year? Thorpe tweeted a picture of two of the chassis' from a train being outside and are replying to tweets with "Swarm is moving forwards in 2016" or similar replies. Marc
http://www.thorpeparkmania.co.uk/news/29-01-2016/Speculation-Swarm-To-Run-Forwards Speculation at the moment but the signs are all pointing that way! Kerfuffle
pluk
I wonder if they'll take the opportunity to install those 'between row' bag holds seen elsewhere, which rotate to protect your belongings while you ride? Would save them a fortune. The Swarms biggest problem is painfully slow one train operation, and that seems to be as a result of the bag room staffing costs Celia Mae
MattyMoo
About bloody time - a shockingly sensible move from Merlin. Swarm Backwards was a poor decision in the first place that screamed desperation on Merlin's part and caused confusion and delays with queues/loading... best rid in my opinion. The Swarm is and always has been a strong enough ride that did not need such a pointless gimmick. Kerfuffle
Coaster
That is great news if true, we can finally enjoy the back row as it should be again! coastercallum

Very happy to 'potentially' hear this news especially having never properly ridden the back rows forwards. Good move by the park.
stretchy
I think I am the only person who prefers it backwards. Edit. I have to allegedly clarrify the above - I prefer riding Swarm backwards. Ian-S and 400400

Cheeky plug time by me: http://forum.maniahub.com/blog/10/entry-421-the-swarm-forwards-vs-backwards/ tl;dr - Forwards has better moments than backwards. Graeme
Makes sense that they would change it for this season, after all they have a new headline ride at the park. Good move by Thorpe, I love the back right on the Swarm whilst facing forwards! Kerfuffle

Charlesberg
It'll be nice to replicate my first ever ride on the Swarm. I queued 2 and a half hours then went in the back row, all I can remember was that I absolutely loved it.
