However you're celebrating, in whatever Tier, TPM wishes you all a Merry Christmas. Hope you're staying healthy, and looking forward to a, hopefully, more enjoyable 2021! Now get off TPM, ignore that silly ride game for a day 😉, and get on that Zoom call with those family members who you can't meet today (whether you want to or not!)

Sorry if this has been done (but I searched all over page 1 of offtopic and I couldn't find this!). Feel free to introduce yourself in here.Anyway, I am Daniel 21 from surrey. . I've been a theme park fan since 1990, my first ride being the 5th dimention at Chessington, well that's the first one I remember, anyway. I enjoy most rides, apart from going upside down, or loops. . The best ride for me is Rush at thorpe park (see the username) but I also enjoy a lot of the Chessington rides, Toom blaster being a great atraction. :PIf there is anything you want to know, message me on here, addd me to messenger, or just reply to my posts

This is the topic to rant about anything that's bothering you - just get it off your chest right here, no matter what it's about!MODS: Would it be possible to pin this topic?OK, so I'll start - road signs. Everywhere I go, I see road signs that are twisted, wonky, fading or just not lit up well. And some are badly positioned! A lot of them definately need to be replaced.

Hey guys - hope it’s ok to start a new topic here as there was no where else I could find to put this. Many of you will have met @Roodie at various meets over the past 17 months. His first meet was Fright Nights 2016 and the day I first met him. Since then I’ve got to know and spend time with this wonderful member of TPM - the reason I’m posting this is because sadly Adam (Roodie) has recently been diagnosed with incurable cancer and has spent the past 5 weeks in hospital. Adam has 2 young sons (ages just 6 and 4) and is desperate to spend the time that he has making memories with them while at the same time raising money for MacMillan. His …

Now this one is different to school, I thought I would make it specific so that people would know exactly what this is about. I'm facing an issue with the fact that I didn't enjoy my course at Uni, to the point that going back now makes me want to cry and I'm doing all I can to change course. I even have to re-apply through UCAS (!) Now I have the task of choosing the course that I want to be on and the course that is what I want to pursue. Now then onto the topic, this is to help anyone on TPM who's making that all important decision and wants help, a fair few of us here are at Uni and I'm sure there's lots of advice to be given. It's tough to decide but it's not the…

There doesn't seem to be any positive equivalent of the ever popular rant thread. What a miserable bunch. I'll start... Right now I am on a month long driving course at work where I get to spend all day every day driving a variety of fairly high performance vehicles very very fast. Learning to do it safely of course, and the concentration required is very draining, but I don't know how it would not be possible to not love every minute of it. Three weeks still to go, big grin on my face at the thought of going back to 'work' on Monday.

Hi guys. Television has been a huge part of society for many, many decades now; it's been around for far longer than I have, and many aspects of popular culture as we know it revolve around and/or were started by TV. A TV is viewed by many as an essential within the home these days, and at a guess, I'd say that the vast majority of people in the developed world at very least own a television. However, I've noticed a vast change in people's TV viewing habits within the last few years. The more traditional scheduled approach to TV watching seems to be decreasing in popularity, with streaming services like Netflix, Disney+ and Amazon Prime amongst others increasing…

Surely there are some football fans and theme park enthustiasts on this website! What teams do you support? Post your scores and opinions of club news on here. I support Brentford, we drew 2-2 with Ipswich by leaving it to the last 5 minutes to score twice, as we have done like every year. New manager's first game, Marinus Dijkhuzien, Does anyone know anything about him.

Alongside Theme Parks, the other thing that I love are G-Shocks - anyone else got any? Latest addition to my collection is the stealth black GA-2100 - got given it as a Christmas present from my girlfriend who had to get it imported from Italy as everywhere was sold out still! Screen can be hard to read at times but overall I love the look!

I had the box on the other day, and there was a news item where the presenter was talking about theme parks opening up, and people in the picture had to be secured by another for safety, a ride in Legoland; I then heard a voice that I immediately recognized and they then showed the speaker and I was right. I used to work with the guy twenty-five years ago, and haven't seen or spoken with him since. Funny old world. I don't do facebook or similar, I'm a bit of a dinosaur, so the chances of getting a message to him are slim.

So recently after owning an iPhone for many years and it being the only smartphone experience I've ever known, I decided on switching to Android. The Huawei Mate 20 Pro and its rave previews so far have been compelling enough for me to make the switch. There's also a pre order offer of their new smartwatch and wireless charger added in for free too which has just sold me over the new iPhone XR at a similar price point to the Mate 20 Pro. I'm wondering if anyone else has made a similar switch and how easy they found it using a different operating system?

Well hello there! What a summer we are having! A year where we thought football was coming home to be out beaten by the fact that Love Island is coming to Thorpe Park! The sun is out beaming and there is no better time to once get back into the football spirit with the Premier League and Football Leagues seasons fast approaching. I have taken the leash off Ryan this year (literally) and am pleased to say that the Fantasy Football competition has renewed its contract and will be returning to TPM for 2018. With transfers galore, new teams raring to go in the Premiership, who do you think will be the best XI? And this year it is bigger and better than…

Popular YouTube games critic, John Bain aka TotalBiscuit died of cancer yesterday. I guess if there is one word of advise he gave about cancer it’s this; If you notice any type of bleeding, for god’s sake see a doctor. Don’t ignore it or shrug it off even if you may find it embarrassing. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-44250597

Hello people of THORPE PARK MANIA, As we know Saw is a legendary franchise in the film industry and a description of the films The franchise revolves around John Kramer, also called the "Jigsaw Killer" or simply "Jigsaw". He was introduced briefly in Saw and developed in more detail in Saw II. Rather than killing his victims outright, Jigsaw traps them in situations that he calls "tests" or "games" to test their will to live through physical or psychological torture. Despite the fact that John was murdered in Saw III, the films continue to focus on the posthumous influence of the Jigsaw Killer and his apprentices by exploring his character via flashbacks. …

So Time has released their shortlist for their choice of person of the year, where name the person who they believe impacted the news the most, be it positively or negatively. Who do you think will win/should win? Or, who do you think should be on the list who wasn't?

As this is been trending for, a couple a weeks now I thought I should make a Forum post on it. Clowns have been all over USA for the last couple weeks and some threatening and scaring people of the public. Some have been doing all kinds of stuff like carrying weapons jumping onto cars and just scaring people altogether. To be honest I am not Scared of clowns but many people are and I get why they are scared of them, but I think this Clown Kraze this october has gone a bit too far as, it has been lead to being the police involved and as far as people of the public being terrorised and even injured. Apparently reports say this Kraze is slowly moving…

So I'm on the hunt for some new headphones and I'm wondering if anyone in here could help. My current headphones are the Sennheiser CX 3.00, while they're great I'm finding that when listening to music loud, the sound distorts, especially when there is more going on in a song. I'm ideally looking for some over-ear headphones in the £100 to £200 price range which have a good level of bass and still sound good when the volume is turned up. Wired or wireless doesn't matter but I prefer wired. Thank you to anyone who can help!
