August 14, 20169 yr comment_239942 I think the main problem would be your spine exiting your body via your neck, leaving your shoulders in the restraints. That would sting a bit.
August 14, 20169 yr comment_239945 No, I'm sorry, this coaster would not be safe. Unique concept though.
August 15, 20169 yr comment_240019 That's better, but I think if Thorpe got a woodie it'd have an inversion. Wouldn't mind it at Chessie lol.
August 15, 20169 yr comment_240021 If Thorpe get a woodie, it needs to be an RMC. Preferably a hybrid with inversions. Something similar to the Joker on the Loggers site themed around Old Town would be great imo.
August 15, 20169 yr comment_240029 ^Agree. Inversions and a possible launch seem much more marketable to TP's audience than a classic woodie.
October 5, 20168 yr comment_242434 In all honesty, I could see anything come to Thorpe in the next few years, but I think what we all want to see is a wooden roller coaster, especially by either RMC, GCI or Gravity Group. A modern wooden roller coaster is something that is desperately needed in the UK. Yes, we have SW8 coming to Alton Towers in 2018, but that seems like more of a family wooden roller coaster. A massive thrilling wooden coaster would be a perfect for any Merlin park, but particularly Thorpe Park as they thrive on building some of the most thrilling rides in Europe.
October 5, 20168 yr comment_242435 Thorpe could go for a 2-4-1 or a deal and get both a thill and family woodie with interwinding layouts
October 11, 20168 yr comment_242843 THIS IS NOT A DRILL. Let the speculation begin. Wicked Witches Haunt VR coming 2018 on site of Loggers Leap?
October 11, 20168 yr comment_242849 Unless he is referring to old plans such as the woody or the flyer.
October 11, 20168 yr comment_242900 When someone has only 7 posts, one of which was casually dropping the Minds Wanted website - before anyone even knew it existed - we must all appreciate the gravity of his message.
October 12, 20168 yr comment_242902 Cheers @Jart Your cryptic message has actually got me very excited for the next ride!

October 12, 20168 yr comment_242919 Well this is the next major investment thread... With the roaring success of the problem free ghost train (sarcasm) I doubt they are planning a 2nd.

I dont think reliability has much factor on the success of a ride (Stealth, Saw, Smiler) all hugely successful but with just as many teething issues!
October 12, 20168 yr comment_242922 We've got 3/4 years of this cryptic message nonsense? Though it doesn't help when we all know the intervening years will produce nothing of note I guess...
October 19, 20168 yr comment_243269 Look to the past? I really do hope they reinstall loggers, but I know they won't I'm sad storm surge gets to stay and loggers has to be dismantled, such a good ride!

October 19, 20168 yr comment_243283 I just hope they build something with an acceptable throughput. If I wanted to wait three hours in a queue I would go to the Post Office.

October 21, 20168 yr comment_243422 Well we know already that the one after WC16, will be Derren Brown's Ghost Train 2. The WC16 tagline was actually for the toilet refurbishment near the Thorpe Store, considering the code name WC16.
