When I was on a visit to thorpe park today I found it very nice and refreshing to see that the park where definately taking an interest in what the general public thought of the park, they had provide a touch screen display survey about your day with the chance to voice any other opinions ( I didn't see it though untill the end of the day so I didn't have time to write my essay of pro's and con's).There where poster in various places around the park which provided a number ( which I failed to remember or use during the time and would appreciate it if anyone else could provide the number) and explained that this number provided them with a free text to the park with the of…

GOOD POINTS: - The rides and themeing of course! The best in the UK IMO- The view from the entrance is breathtaking being able to see almost all the rides in there glory is amazing!- The staff are very friendly and make the day out even more enjoyable - The fact that the park is on an island it makes it very different and is more magical IMO than a park such as Alton Towers that is set in huge woodland. BAD POINTS: - The park can get VERY busy I think THORPE PARK should allow less numbers in on peak days.- Ride breakdowns are very common at the park however this improved ALOT in 2009! Do premium annual pass holders have to pay for the passing?

Thanks for previous answer. Of course I've just noticed the Sun doing their free tickets offer (for Alton Towers and I believe they do it for Thorpe Park after this). It's for two free tickets, but that seems too good to be true!? I guess that if we wanted two days in whatever park, then we'd get a free ticket in the offer and a £30 one day ticket online. This seems incredibly cheap, am I missing something? What's the catch?? lol Thanks in advance for any replies.

I Spotted something interesting in a picture that I found on Theme UK.If I'm not mistaken, the trussing along with the barbed wire, the cameras and the speakers on each side, resemble the setup for Dead End. Why are speakers and all the rest necessary for pure advertisement of The Swarm?

I've been approached (through Total Thorpe Park) by a leading Canadian TV production company regarding an upcoming 2016 Canadian documentary series about "the most amazing theme parks in the world". The documentary series contains 8 x 1h episodes that will feature 16 parks around the world. One of the episodes is based around "Adrenaline" Parks; both Thorpe and Europa are to feature. Here's an interesting question, not that I'd expect anyone to actually ever know the answer to it (!), I'm visiting with a friend on Friday who I last visited Thorpe with last August who suffers from migraines. On our last visit, she had a severe migraine come on around half way through the day and had to go home. At the start of the day we'd managed TWD, Stealth, Swarm and Vortex. Around halfway through the day, we rode Saw, Rush and then Zodiac in very quick succession. I suspect Zodiac may have pushed her over the edge. Just wondering, I am planning on getting a Thorpe Park annual pass for my birthday but I was wondering if the pass allows you to get into AP days, although I wont be going to an AP day this year it would be good to know in advanced.

I have a Thorpe Park Annual Pass - is one of the benefits that I can bring my friends and they only pay £15 per ticket? If this is correct how can I book these on line??
