Benin
All the rides were open? What about Chief Ranger's Carousel?

sully1311
It started on two when I went a couple of weeks ago, but went to one because the park was so empty.
holtjammy16
By the way Colossus will be on 1 train for the remainder of the season. Oh dear.. I see a repeat of Fright Nights 2008.. (3+ hour queue as well as the fastrack queue being not much shorter)
Daniel.S313
not 100% sure but I'm sure loggers leap wasn't working from like 6ish and never opened throughout the night so it might be closed for abit
Cal
Stealth and saw were closed today because of weather conditions , so depending on the weather at the begging of the season they will probably be closed.
Ryan
Saw also has dodgy air-gates lolfail.
c1hrisin
They both opened by the end of the day... and yeah it does XD they started opening as the car left the station and the whole process had to stop :/
Marc
Indeed all rides were open over the weekend with the exception of X. Some rides were abit temperamental as you would expect on a preview weekend but overall nice one
rOsSwA28
Was Saw and Collosos open today? Yes, they both opened later though once the weather had warmed up a bit
celia_coba
Is there any way to know wich rides will be closed during a day? Because in other park they advise of it on their web pages, but I can't find this section in Thorpe's web page. Then what can I do? If I go to the park and I find ther for example 3 of the 5 coasters are closed is there any compensation for that? because they don't advise you, well they may put in on the entrance of the park, just before you enter, but you have done a long trip to arrive Thorpe... pluk
As the park has a relatively short opening season they do not do planned maintenance while the park is open, so there is no schedule of closures like you might find at a year round park. If something is closed it is likely to be unexpected and therefore they would not be able to put that on their website. If a major attraction is going to be down for a while they do put a banner on the website but currently everything is open as far as I'm aware. Samurai is having quite a lot of trouble and down time and Saw keeps having its moments, but rarely for a whole day at a time, If a couple of coasters are closed for the day you wouldn't get any compensation and if they know about it at park opening they will put signs up at the pay booths. If a lot of things shut they are usually pretty good and give you a free ticket to return another day for free, but that is really rare and usually only in extreme weather. celia_coba
Ok thank you for the information, so if it's an unexpected clousure they advise in the web... I hope I will be able to ride almost in all the coasters, then the rest of the rides I don't mind so much hehe.
dragon2000
I don't think there were many rides not closed at some point today. Full trip report of today's disastrous events coming tomorrow...
Coaster
I don't think there were many rides not closed at some point today. Full trip report of today's disastrous events coming tomorrow... Oh dear. Was it busy?
JoshC.
It was packed today. I was there till about half 12 and rides I saw unavailable were... -Stealth (down all the time) -Vortex (down all the time, though was testing) -Loggers (down till 12ish) -Rush (broke at 10:10, reopened later though) -Storm Surge opened late (and then had a 140min queue! ) -Slammer still broke. Was a shame to see, especially at the park's busiest period, when the reliability this year has been very good otherwise!
Inferno
Thorpe always seem to have a blip towards the end of the summer don't they. Fingers crossed it was just a one-off!
Mitchada04
Yesterday was fine. Of course Slammer was done but other than that I only saw two closures, Stealth for 5 minutes and Nemesis Inferno for 10. Other than those from what I could tell everything was running fine the whole day.
Coaster
Sounds like an awful day, not the sort of impression they want to be leaving on their guests.
planenut
Not the sort of day to turn to only ride Stealth, phew, I was working.
dragon2000
Colossus, Inferno, Saw and Stealth are currently all closed. Swarm has ended up with 140min queue and X has a 60min queue. Bad day to be there.
