Dodge2002
Might not have been taken down, but what if it was re painted a new colour, and thus no longer visible in the dark?

Saz
I drove down Staines Road yesterday and I can happily confirm that the X pyramid is still very much there. holtjammy16

TPJames
I drove down Staines Road yesterday and I can happily confirm that the X pyramid is still very much there. Thanks mate, however I am leaving my options open it could have been taken down today but that is very unlikely. I guess I probably just didn't see it in the dark although I am sure I have seen it in the dark before! Maybe that's just my imagination...As for the colour, do you know if it has been painted, once again, could have been repainted today some colours which could not be seen in the dark. If the refurb is true however, I would like some bright- glowing colours because apparently it is going to be a 'clubbing ride'
Saz
That's ok, I guess. Even if it was taken down today (which it wasn't) it would take a number of days. In regards to a repaint, even if X is getting a refurb I doubt Merlin would invest in a full paint job of the whole pyramid considering that the ride is likely to be removed entirely within 5-7 years. BigBobJones
Wouldn't we have seen planning permission if they are removing the building? Because they would be putting something else if they took the pyramid down. Anyway I'm very excited to go to Zufari and SW7 + the refurbed X-sector I can hardly have enough excitement for X:\NWO now can I :-) Any ideas on the new name? X:\This Way Out? pluk
The last page makes me want to smash my head through the table. Back in reality, it's an office day again so hopefully some more hints coming our way about a modest X retheme and/or The Swarm modifications and/or anything else realistic we might be this year. Benin
So THAT'S what's new for 2013 with Swarm... It's being covered in foam... Notice the distinct lack of backwards rows at the rear of the train... Dan9, Bubbles1, Topsyturvy15 and 2 others
JoshC.
Notice the distinct lack of backwards rows at the rear of the train... Don't be silly Benin - they're only changing the back two rows on one of the trains; just in case people want to ride the back row facing forward! But in all seriousness, that should dis-spell that rumour now...I hope. On a different note, doesn't Swarm look lovely in the snow.
Coaster
apparently it is going to be a 'clubbing ride' But... We don't even know if "Evolution" is an X:/ No Way Out refurb or not. We have only had one clue so far. Whilst it is likely to be a refurb or X:/NWO, we don't know yet.

[img=http://static.fjcdn.com/pictures/Myth_77f9af_506015.gif] Why is swarm being tested in the snow lol?
Ryan
I highly doubt it's being tested, probably just having work done on the trains...
Tom
I might be looking at the photo wrong but the 'shadowed' bits underneath the train looks like patches where it hasn't snowed, so they weren't testing it in the snow, the train was just there at the time that it snowed. Topsyturvy15
Its probably just there while they're turning the back rows around! MarkC
Jammy3112
That photo is just proof as to why the Swarm trains keep breaking down If you leave it out in the snow, it's gonna get rusty. MarkC
Pickles
Where else are they going to put the train? There's only enough room in the maintenance shed for one train?
jom222
Only room for one train is a bit of a design flaw I think, I doubt they will make The Swarm backwards especially as it is bran new. If it was older it could be a possibility to make the ride 'new' again.
