jom222
It's a shame the dodgems have lab bars, I was hoping they wouldn't have them. Mad Coaster Man

Mitchada04
It's a shame the dodgems have lab bars, I was hoping they wouldn't have them. I much prefer the look of these bars than the ones at Chessington. Leg room isn't the best at Chessington because you can't move your legs much due to the bar coming down the middle so at least this should solve that. Plus, bars are so much quicker to check and lower than having to do up a seat belt so throughput wise is also a bonus. Cal
I think the lap bars look good, they look better than the seat belts in my opinion, the seat belts look tacky.
Dan9
It's a shame the dodgems have lab bars, I was hoping they wouldn't have them. Clearly said by someone who's never been on Dodgems without lap bars... ...I hope. paige
Cal
South Parks were lucky enough to have a sneak preview of all the angry birds land today, and posted a photo of the cinema. All the plastic has now been taken off the seats. Looks pretty good, and bigger than I expected (I never went in the previous cinema) and really looking forward to it now! Coaster
Looks very professional, and is unrecognisable considering how it looked before.
c1hrisin
Why does it have the little stage bit in front of it. Has it ever been used as a stage?
Glitch
Why does it have the little stage bit in front of it. Has it ever been used as a stage? Probably for fright nights and shows! c1hrisin
Marc
Why does it have the little stage bit in front of it. Has it ever been used as a stage? Yep it has been quite often used as a stage for Fright Nights back when they had the Circus of Horrors. Also Pre-Pirates 4D the building used to be the Palladium Theatre which had live stage shows. Phill may remember this! c1hrisin
JoshC.
Why does it have the little stage bit in front of it. Has it ever been used as a stage? Think it's always had it. Has been used in the past for The Carnival of the Bizarre and Barry and Stuart during Fright Night shows. c1hrisin
Benin
Looks like a Conference Centre... Shame they didn't theme the inside...
pluk
In some ways I think it is good they haven't, gives the place more versatility to use for other things or variations in what's shown in a few years once the angry birds thing has faded a bit. jom222
Clearly said by someone who's never been on Dodgems without lap bars... ...I hope. I have been on ones without them, I think the lab bars are annoying. Looks like these are better lap bars though because they won't have a bar down the middle like at Chessington. pluk
Yes, lap bars on dodgems are a relatively new thing. They are sooo much better without.
Dan9
I've done Dodgems without lap bars once and came out of it with three seperate injuries, one of which lasted for quite a few days. No thanks. Kerfuffle
Kerfuffle
It's funny how one minute I was thinking "Oh God, Thorpe what kind of terrible new addition is this?", but now as it's now taking shape VERY quickly, I'm starting to have second thoughts! Looks kinda good I must say! Still not quite finished though...(in a Mr Burns voice) Excellent! JoshC.
paige
Despite the fact I'm not really warming to the idea of it yet, Thorpe seem to be working rather quickly and dare I say they may actually have it all completed on time!
EC!
I was open to the Angry Birds Idea, but now they have done this... Because nothing says quality themeing like Graffiti... Matt 236 and Cornflakes
OldFarmerDean
I actually quite like that... it's somewhat quirky! MarkC
Marc
And it makes sense if you see the Piggie in the corner with a paint brush!!
EC!
I saw that but I still think it doesn't add to the area what so ever, just stick to the original game themeing and it would looks fine as graffiti doesn't look great to me even if the pig is painting it tbh, everything else I like its just that looks a bit meh. J.S217
That is hilarious, I would love to see Grammanazi Angry bird correcting the spelling in another corner. Having another looking seems they are incorporating Bad Piggies
JoshC.
You can tell there's been thought as to making it feel quirky and funny, but at the moment, it seems like something that sounded good on paper but hasn't worked in reality. Will wait and see, as more could be added / it could fit in well with the film. At this stage, it's by least favourite part of the area though.. Shame cos the brick-work looks fantastic underneath... Maybe it's too ensure that the previous target market don't feel left out by the change of audience?
