Benin
Merlin attempt a viral video... Fail... Seriously, did they really think any London commuter (especially on the Tube) would take notice of some weird thing? Let only in a badly done video... Sigh... Ryan
http://thelondoneconomic.com/news/grady-sisters-appear-on-london-underground/03/12 Article about the "week long" PR stunt. "Mike Vallis, Divisional Director of Thorpe Park Resort said: “Following the announcement of Derren Brown curating our new 2016 attraction in October, we have had many enthusiasts try to unravel our closely guarded secret.“From theme park enthusiasts trying to access the site to fans sneaking into the backend of our social media accounts to look for scheduled posts. So due to demand and interest in our largest investment to date we have released our next clue, The Victorian Twins”." Matt 236
Interesting video, gives me vibes somewhat between the Shining and The Woman In Black [first one] for some reason. Am liking these videos and teasers so far and hope the ride will be as good.
Coaster
Seriously, did they really think any London commuter (especially on the Tube) would take notice of some weird thing? Let only in a badly done video... There could be a reason for it being filmed on the Tube though, isn't that rumoured to be part of the theme? EdwinOkli
"Get on board…" I think it's very clear that it's going to be London Underground themed. Kind of strange considering the park is neither in London nor near any Tube station. But OK.
Mark9
I think it's okay, after all Dragon Falls isn't exactly around the corner from China and Tidal Wave is quite a distance from 1950's America. Ryan
There's a lot of social media hype around this right now, seems like they got a lot of popular Youtubers to tweet about it.
TPMSam
Seen a lot of social media hype too around this, as much as it's not the best video I think the way they've done it all to advertise the ride has been good to be fair to Thorpe, it's got the word around. Here's hoping we'll finally get something that lives up to its tags Ryan
Dodge2002
With the amount that it costs to produce High quality adverts they're not gonna blow a bomb just on some silly Facebook video. The quality of this clip is just fine for a small Facebook teaser. It's not like it'll be airing in tv or anything.
jjh123horry
Like everyone has said, for a small facebook promo video, it works absolutely fine, and comparing it back to previous ones, a la mob of people running around London Underground in black morph suits to promote The Swarm, I say its a rather large improvement. Nick Hutson
An external PR company did this. I think it's good but the audio is dire. Not only have they chosen the worst string sounds in the world they appear to have life the girls' laughter from Rollercoaster Tycoon 3. Shame. It still makes me excited for what could be a new haunted type of attraction! L7123456

CharlieN
As budget as it is, the video seems to be popular with thorpe park visiting youtubers such as the sidemen. As much as I hate them, they would spread wc16 awareness a lot.
L7123456
They could have chosen any creepy person/thing. But they went for the dolls [emoji24]. I f**king hate dolls [emoji24]. After watching the (low budget) video I am even more excited to see what the attraction is about and how this tube station with dolls and prams are gonna play a part in it Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

JoshC.
This video and style is a lot better that the random Swarm dancing people in London that Thorpe did. So that's good. I hope that we see a Smiler-style promotion with loads of posters marketing the attraction - it would work especially well at many train stations. With Derren sharing these sort of stories, and him having a massive following, it should do some good in gearing up some interest. Ian-S
I hope so, my wife said she'd have belted one of them if they'd sat next to her on the tube, so she deserves to be locked in a room with one just for ****s and giggles now.
