Extraordinary Golf at Alton Towers was a fantastic addition to the park back in 2007. I love it, and this is certainly one of the best-themed courses I've ever played on. I generally like mini golf.Which is your favourite hole? I'm still trying to decide. :PDiscuss Extraordinary Golf here.

Looks like the UK is set to have a new holiday site opening, which will incorporate a Gulliver's theme park. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-south-yorkshire-38992235 Probably not the most exciting development for those of us over 7 years old, but still nice to see something new.

The London Dungeons is now part of the merlin/tussauds line up, and has been a popular family attraction for many a year. Recently the dungeons have been installing ride attractions including Xtremis: The Drop Ride to Doom - or sommat. But what do you think - really scary? or just mildly gory. Chat Chat Chat!

In comparison to last year not as impressive but could still be promising none the less! It's the Zoo's 85th anniversary so for half term the zoo will be open (as expected) with some guest animals, exclusive shows, animal feedings and a host of other activities available. Ride line up: - Hocus Pocus Hall All guests have to pre book tickets including Annual pass holders but this is free of charge. Thoughts!?

So so this is all coming up soonish! Tickets have gone on sale for July already so opening very soon! I was surprised a topic had not been started about it in all honesty From what I have read and seen it looks very similar to what the London Dungeons provides but with a different theme and possibly target audience, it will be interesting to see what it has on offer when it finally opens! Here is the current site for those interested https://www.shreksadventure.com/london/

I used to visit here all the time when I was a kid for one reason. It is designed for children. All the enclosures have viewing points designed for children and activities at each enclosure (like how loud can you roar even though they have no big cats ). Drusillas is also well known for having a set of large and good play areas. Many of the places I visited as a kid I can't remember very well but Drusillas is one I clearly and fondly remember! Park map for those interested. Anyway, opening this Saturday is a new land with a few rides, Hello Kitty Secret Garden. Included will be a tea cups, car ride and a frog hopper. It's not much but for a family zoo of this size i…

http://www.grimsbytelegraph.co.uk/pleasure-island-theme-park-to-close/story-29738706-detail/story.html Sad news, it's always a shame to see a park close and yet another bad sign for the UK industry. Gutted that I never got to visit, and unless a miracle happens I won't get to.

I was quite shocked to see that there was no topic for the East Coasts finest fun fair/theme park. I go there every year and it is one of those theme parks that although there is nothing of major thrill...it is never really boring. The wooden rollercoaster is a real experience and I would recommend going there purely to try this out! Apparently they have added a new rollercoaster this year...a family spinning wild mouse although I have seen no photos or publicity of this...

Pasaje Del Terror is a Horror maze franchise which started back in 1988. there are many in Europe and South America. there is one in the UK at Blackpool Pleasure Beach and there used to be one in London at Piccadilly. There used to be one in the USA called Terror on Church Street. the original creator of Pasaje was a man named Fernando Quenard and the very first Pasaje was located in Mar del Plata, Argentina. The Thompsons bought the Pasaje franchise in around 1993-1998 and has been running for about 20 years now(the Blackpool attraction). the Pasaje usually lasts about 10-15 minutes and has many famous horror movie characters which try to scare you during the journey. it…

so...has anyone been to this? considering going tomorrow. was just wondering what the "phobophobia" show entails. it says it's for adults only, and is extreme...should I expect something as extreme as face it alone at Thorpe, or is it just a scarier version of the normal Tombs show? cheers!

Air first opened in 2002 (That WAS air right), and during construction known as SW5. It was the first B&M Flying Coaster ever built, and was recieved as either a slow or boring ride, or just pure brilliance. It may look Slow and boring (due to height and noise restriction), but looks can be very decieving... apparently. Discuss it, Hate it, Love it...

The occasional part of the Occasional Vlog is back, and with the new Merlin Premier pass in hand it's time to take our adventures beyond just Legoland. This time we hit Chessington and quickly find that there is a lot there, not just for the adrenaline junkies, but for the little ones, and those of us not so adventurous. Check out the latest video, and I'll be trying to get two or three occasional vlogs, alongside Elizabeth's daily vlogs, out per week. Paul the start of something special, occasional vlog #24

After having visited many theme parks across the globe I just can't seem to understand why are parks are so badly maintained eg dirty faded tracks, worn out theming and effects etc... Places like port aventura coaster tracks are gleaming all year round year after year but ours are either faded or rusting anyone know why? I am aiming this more at Thorpe as Alton are sorting some of their coasters tracks slowly

Just a quick one Does anyone else think the name of this category should be UK Attractions, rather than parks? As places like Sealife, Dungeons, Shreks Adventure etc aren't parks.

Everyone just pretend Alton Towers is yours to manage. And to prevent arguments, you might have unlimited money, no planning permission needed and unrealistic aspects. Basically, try not to shout at each other because their park is 'unrealistic', that is the point, it's yours. Cheers.I'll post mine later.
