planenut
No stick to the normal - the second train broke down. Han30
Mitchada04
Proof of the second train as no one has proved it (odd, usually people instantly blame people on here for not proving stuff). Here you can see stacking and two trains. All back to normal for Colossus. Han30
Ian-S
It was running two trains today (everything was), which meant it was walk on all afternoon (everything was).
Mark9
Now all we need is a repaint with new trains and Colossus might actually be a decent coaster! Aren't you the one normly telling people off for moaning too much?!
Coaster
Why does Colossus always stack?
Benin
I assume it's the ride system, mixed between that it always takes FOREVER to unload/load in the first place... There's no MCBR point on in, and the brake run is incredibly short (in comparative terms), so it'll be a ride that always stacks... Jax Teller
Can someone explain stacking to me please (I'm slightly stupid xD)
Coaster
Can someone explain stacking to me please (I'm slightly stupid xD) It's when a train has to wait on the brake run because the other one in the station hasn't been sent yet.
Project LC
Colossus will nearly always stack due to the placement of the blocks. Teamed up with the horrific station design and terrible trains. I'm not sure when the earliest the train can be sent is but even with stacking it can't be that much of a delay.
Jax Teller
Has anyone got any good pictures of the Colossus merch? Going May and would like a few picks xD
dragon2000
They won't send the train in the station until the previous train has stopped in the brakes. They used to 5+ years ago and the lift motor would slow down/stop (like the Swarm nowadays) to compensate. However, the ride would shut down so often due to motor problems, not wanting to start up again basically, (and therefore people needing to be evacuated off the lift hill much more frequently) that they decided to stop doing it. Han30
Merch pics? Anyone? Noticed that you haven't had a reply yet - not got any pics but if you haven't got the Colossus resin, it is nice (though it isn't new this year) - not really taken a great deal of notice re: Colossus Merch apart from a hoodie I bought on one of my trips this year which was on sale for a bargain price of £12 (with discount) - they do have some rather cute teddies aswell but they are orange and blue Kerfuffle and Jax Teller
Mitchada04
You know that running joke with Colossus? The one about painting it? Well they've listened. For this bit a least. Yay it's grey and dull. Will fit in much nicer with Saw now! Seriously though, it's just this piece and a cross beam on the cobra roll. I'm guessing it's something structural/stress related but I've no idea! Anyone else know what's going on? EC! and paige
Project LC
What if its fanboys creeping in at night and painting the ride themselves. Before we know it the whole thing will have a lovely new coat of paint. paige, TPJames, Celia Mae and 1 other
Whatever
It's Grey. One shade of Grey. HELP IT'S A 50SOG RIDE.
Kerfuffle
NOOOOOOOOOOOO! Why can't it be TURQUOISE like it's supposed to be??? ...Unless they're doing a Stealth and painting different sections of the track! Turquoise and grey together would work out nice. InfernoMartin
Could the grey just be a primer ready for a coat of blue ? (if it is getting anymore paint)
MachoMachine
Someone's obviously painting it for their GCSE art piece Kerfuffle

Coaster
It looks like an undercoat to me, which could mean that they are possible going to be testing out paint on a few sections of track?
RubyRed95
Slightly off topic but yesterday Colossus was running half a train service, literally a whole huge section in the middle wasn't being used, and it seemed to be squeaking... Like really loudly. No idea what's going on but was one of the most jolty rides I've ever had with a constant squeaking to go along with it :/ Hoping that is an undercoat and we might see a pretty, brand-new looking Colossus not too far from now... At least I can dream Kerfuffle
