Single rider is on some of the rides at thorpe. Which ones and how do they work?

Hi All, I'm a bit of an amateur photographer and took my camera with me on Tuesday (10/07/2018). Quite happy with some of the shots. Please note that I have personally taken the images and if you do wish to use them elsewhere then please ask my permission first, but just really wanted to share these! Hope you like them.

Now I for one do not believe that this is true, however it does seem to have alot of weight behind it. Many people over on Towerstimes seem to believe that Sonic Spinball will be relocated to another Merlin park. Most think it will be Thorpe Park. Weeks ago I would have just laughed it off, but since the removal of the "fat heads" and the realization on Merlins behalf that Thorpe Park need more family rides...it could be true. We now that Alton Towers plan to move Sonic Spinball anyway as documented in their LTDP published 2 years ago or so and I personally would say it would be a waste of money to move a roller coaster like that to a different location within the same…

Colossus repaint (half initially), control system upgrade, dispatch screen, rockwork and theming repairs/upgrades to queue and long term track replacement. Now Storm Surge has now opened to the masses here is the new topic to discuss the ride.Rode it today, its clear the area is certainly not finished but nice work from the park to get it open on time. The ride its self is very fun, it spins alot more than I expected and is actually pretty intense for a "dingy ride", the theming what's there is nice, and I expect we will see more of it too soon when the area is actually finished.

Thorpe Park is an amazing theme park and has developed a lot over the years. But, there is always room for improvements around the park so do you have any suggestions? I am very interested to see what everyone has in mind and perhaps some of our suggestions may even been seen (seeing this is the official fansite for Thorpe Park). Try suggesting things that will improve and develop:- Atmosphere: What coud the park do to give more of an atmosphere in areas and rides? Or just the park as a whole?- Guest experience: What could the park do to make the guest experience far better? What would put a smile on everyones faces? Today at THORPE PARK they are filming their summer advert, is this a thing they usually do because I don't remember them having a separate one? They tweeted earlier that they have just finished filming on Depth Charge, this could be trying to show how THORPE PARK is suitable for all ages as they have changed their target audience recently. If anyone has any pictures/videos of the filming post here please.

Can I take this opportunity to thank all those staff members who made my visits so good this year. The ride operators, the engineers and the cleaning staff, who all dealt with me and those within earshot so tactfully and patiently. Staff and even some managers whom I saw rush to assist to tidy up the mess that some unwell riders left. Whatever you all do in the future, this should have been a good experience to meet and deal with such a wide range of people from all walks of life. The staff should feel chuffed if their "customers" left with a smile, you've done your bit to make somebody's day, well done.

Hi as Old Town has closed,I would like to know what people think should happen to Rocky and what is actually happening with it. I have heard that Rocky has been sold if this is true I think a small Theme Park like Camel Creek should purchase it. Please post your theories,opinions and any rumours you have heard here.

If Wicked Witches Haunt hadn't burnt down, what do you think its future would've been? Personally, I think it would have remained in the same format but become a shooting Dard Ride like Tomb Blaster at Chessington and the closed Duel at Alton Towers. I believe Duel and Wicked Witches Haunt would have been almost identical. I feel the only diffrences would have been the facades, transit systems and vehicles. I'd like to hear what you think the lost future of Wicked Witches Haunt would have been.

So basically on thorpe park's end of season video for the 2017 season they put the words "see you in the safe zone" at the end of the video and the website now says "coming soon for 2018" and it makes me wonder what it all means. Does anyone have any idea's?

I was extremely fortunate to be able to attend the Media Event this evening, and I can say that the event was simply epic. As is the ride. Best. Ride. Ever.Unfortunately, I didn't get many photos, due to the darkness and my camera hating the that. However, I can recall pretty much every fine detail. However, I'm tired, and don't have the effort to do that now. I will, however, do so tomorrow (I assume I'm allowed, haven't been told otherwise) and will give a ride review as well.
