Yes this is a park which its sole theme is the Irish crisps company that own it. They are planning to install the 2nd biggest woodie in europe for 2015. Stats: 1.4kms long (4593ft) 32m high (104ft) 105kph (65mph) 2 trains with 12 seats each 700pph 8.5million Euro It will take up 2.8 acres of space. The only coaster bigger then it will be Wodan at europa in dimensions (I think they have forgotten Colossos at Heide) Fingers crossed this goes all to plan as it will be Irelands first big coaster. Yo I'm off to Thailand and Cambodia this summer. Since I feel like I can't go abroad without a cheeky theme park day or two I am wondering if anybody knows of any theme parks and water parks that are worth a visit in these countries. Chaars

We have a variety of threads for parks all around the world. But it's perhaps hard to track things. And there's also plenty of parks which we don't have threads for. BUT. Loads of parks around the world are getting new major rides for 2025. So let's try something new, and track them all in one thread. So this will be the life and soul of any non-UK ride getting built. Some bigger / more popular parks / rides might get their own thread / attention, but this is for a bit of everything... So here's a few to get us started... Walibi Holland are getting YoY, a pair of duelling RMC single rail raptors... The green trac…

Pretty surprised to see there's no thread for this! Surely a ride so epic in every way deserves its own discussion? Spiderman is currently my all-time favourite ride. I remember it being one of the focuses of a theme park documentary I was watching a good 10 years back, showing behind the scenes footage and also footage of the ride itself...and when the famous finale to the ride was displayed, my mind was blown. Consequently, in the summer of 2008, I finally had the chance to give this a ride once and for all! SPOILERS:

OK, so I am going to Florida in May, with a pass for ALL of the parks.I am wondering, in your opinion, what is the BEST attraction over there? I think it may be Kraken, or the new, rethemed Dueling Dragons in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. What would it be for you?

Flying Turns is probably one of the more infamous bobsled coasters to come from America. A custom made ride by Knoebels in Pennsylvania, the coaster has been plagued by problem after problem after problem, and has been under construction since 2006. However, yesterday, pigs flew after the ride had finally opened! A couple of pictures from Coasterforce member ECG - http://www.coasterforce.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=878648&sid=90193fa8b270753674326da256230a72#p878648 Also, here's a night time POV: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=oPULFIcUhuk Actually looks like a fun ride as well, which is great to see. It's great to see that the rid…

Let's be honest, what's the point of an entire thread dedicated to Parc Saint Paul? Sooooo I thought why not put all those smaller places into one topic that will see the likes of PSP, Le Pal and many, many more have updates on what they're getting in the future for all budding cred runners! To start off, Parc Saint Paul are getting a Gravity Group wooden coaster next year: Elsewhere in France, Le Pal (near Lyon) is getting a JOYvelen clone (https://rcdb.com/15072.htm), and a brand new park in Parc Spirou (https://rcdb.com/12676.htm) is being built in the South, with a Zierer tower launched thing coming with it. …

I don’t think there’s a topic on this park yet. This may well be the most beautiful theme park out there! The theming is just next level, it’s such a pretty park I am very glad I took the day to go. That said you probably don’t need more than a day. I hear they are expanding the park in 2022 with a new ‘port’, themed on tangled, frozen and Peter Pan, so that should help with the crowding. Some of the food options were very memorable including garlic shrimp popcorn and potato churros. Journey to the centre of the earth was a fun ride, and both Indiana Jones rides were quite dull, so it will be interesting to hear what rides the new port will ha…

I'm amazed we don't have a topic for this lovely park! Should have been enough of a reason on its own! They have a huge expansion plan in progress with an aim of doubling gate figures up to 1.2 million by 2025. So as seen here the entrance will move, 3 big phases for new themed area (first one for 2018 which is the yellow one) and a hotel! Buildings up to 30metres bar the entrance which has a 45 metre tower whenever that materialises. New rides up to 45 metres with the exception of 3 rides allowed to go to 100 metres. They have nice neighbours it seems (if they have neighbours, its very middle of no where) So what are they buil…

Was browsing through RollerCoaster Database one bored friday afternoon and came across this. Click HereIt has a G-Force of 6.3!!I found this amazing as it's an in-house creation and has a vertical drop of 164ft!Take a look , I'm looking for a video at the moment , and I'd love to see if anyone here has been on it and can compare forcefulness compared to say Nemesis Inferno or Colossus.

Tripsdrill's new Gerstlauer launched coaster 'KARACHO' is looking mighty fine! The coaster has been marketed as having the lap-bar trains and features a rolling LSM launch. All images thanks to Coasterfriends.de. Looks like a nice layout, and damn, it looks like it will have some good spots of airtime... And whilst I mention that, I really think that Gerstlauer could build a really good twisty hyper coaster sometime with nothing but a range of ejector hills and curvy twists and possibly a beyond vertical drop with the vertical lift too. On all of their coasters that I've ridden, the spots of airtime combined with the dinky little trains always end up being my favo…

After visiting today, I thought that a topic about this impressive park wouldn't go a miss! This park is mainly Simulators and walk through attractions - but still a park not to be missed!I'll spark some rides to talk about...The Mummy Returns - Amazing ride! You're on these crate kind of trains which embark on a journey into the depths of the tomb, where Imhotep wants to capture your souls to gain imortality. The special effects in here are extremely extensive and Universal have really gone the 'extra mile' to make this a ride and a half! You have several transfer tracks within where you will go backwards. There's also turntables and a launch hill! I'm trying not to spoil …

A weird mix of the American counterparts and home of the delightfully unique Space Fantasy Mack Spinning Coaster, this park have recently debuted a Resident Evil (Biohazard) variation on the scare maze genre with the addition of guns... Groups of 8 enter and do the usual stick of destroying whichever class virus this one focuses on... Sounds like an interesting idea and a neat addition to the park... It's also led to this food offering... Source - http://kotaku.com/a-frightening-look-inside-japans-newest-resident-evil-833310331

I didn't really know where to put this tbh, but seeing I couldn't find an existing/ appropriate topic, I thought I would create one. Sad news has been announced at Universal Singapore today it's been confirmed their roller coaster Battlestar Galactica will be closed for good. The ride, the tallest duelling coaster in the world, has been plagued with operational and technical problems since day one when it opened in 2010 and will be replaced with a new ride at the end of the year. Full details about the article can be found here https://sg.news.yahoo.com/blogs/what-is-buzzing/troubled-universal-studios-singapore-ride-battlestar-galactica-closes-084334087.html

Valleyfair is my home park, and I'm very proud to state that. Despite the its flaws, the park is in my opinion, one of the parks that has every ingredient needed to be a perfect park. How to make a good park:-Rides-Landscape/Scenery-Food-ShopsRides: At Valleyfair, there are rides for every size. For kiddies, there's 3 different sections dedicated to kids alone! Half Pint Park, Corkscrew Tot Spot, and Kidworks. Each section has various kiddie rides that are fit for kids alone. Rockin Tug, the Foam Ball Factory, and the Hot Air Balloons are some of the highlights of these areas. For families, there are various family rides, from coasters, (Mad Mouse) water rides, (Hydroblast…

Right guys, today I thought I would tell you about one of the best funfairs(in my opinion) which exists today. It is called villacher kirchtag and is from the 28th July to 4th August 2013. It is a traditional fair with folk dancing and music but also features a fairly large funpark. The funpark is quite expensive however due to the long ride times you get on the rides(some being around 10 mins) you feel satisfied for your money. The funpark is a great way to get your thrill senses going and is very fun and exciting. The funpark has a great atmosphere. There is also a wide range of food and drinks avalible as well as traditional gingerbread. I am advising you to go and vis…

I'd be umm-ing and err-ing about whether to make a thread for Walibi Belgium, but their new coaster is intriguing me more and more, so figured I may as well... Pulsar, opening in early June, is a new Mack Power Splash coaster. Promo video... Essentially, the ride features 3 launches (eventually reaching a speed of about 62mph) and one massive splashdown (the promo video shows a couple, but there is only one). It sounds like such a weird, unnecessary and silly attraction, but at the same time, I think it could be quite fun! To help improve throughputs, there will be 2 boats / cars. One is on the track, the other in the station, which is separated by a…

Hey wasn't sure if this deserved it's own thread or not since I'm not sure I'll write a follow up report or anything but I was planning on visiting Walibi Holland in August, honestly I don't know much about the park (though I've heard it compared to Thorpe Park in that it's more about the big thrills than family stuff in a lot of ways) and I was wondering if anyone could give me any advice on visiting there or anything (best days to visit or what I should go on first etc) I'm looking forward to trying Robin Hood since I've never been on a wooden rollercoaster before and Goliath looks quite fun too, I haven't really been to any international theme parks before (well I …

Considering they recently revised their Fantasyland plans I think now's as good a time as any to create a topic for WDW in general, so incorporating all 4 of the parks and resort...Firstly, the Fantasyland expansion has been revised in the Magic Kingdom, killing off the numerous Princess based attractions, and giving us a new Mine themed coaster... As well as the Little Mermaid and Beauty and the Beast attractions...Scroll down here...Animal Kingdom recently opened a new Animal Trek paying (I think) attraction... This involves a special jaunt around the Savannah area there and looks rather awesome... Apart from the food, that looks crap tbh...Pictures can be seen here...A…
