Hi, what's the new attraction for 2022? I need a reason to get my friends to go with me however they only like, world's firsts, television and film IP's or a new never before done flat ride. Are we getting any of these?

Storm in a Teacup is awesome, so here's a topic about it.Originally teacup twisters, then themed to Storm in a Teacup WHENEVER, and now Storm in a Teacup sponsered by tetley tea!No day at a Theme Park is complete without a ride on the teacups. (or similar (Marauders Mayhem anyone?))Oh and Chessington has teacups on their carousel, so that counts!Has anybody else noticed they're playing WWTP radio on storm in a teacup? I'm not talking about any of the soundtracks here. I mean the noises which the rides and coasters actually make.I have noticed as I walk round the park, that the attractions make some great noises which really do remind me of the park, and I have so many times refered to Thorpe Park's rides outside the park. For Example, the other day I was in a mates car and his brakes were making a noise just the same as Samurai powering up and down in the ride cycle and I loved it so much Some of my personal favourites are:- Nemesis Inferno pulling out of the station and that clonking noise which I "think" is made by each of the set wheels passing onto another section of the track.- …

They used the exit ramp as a Fastrack queue this afternoon which was quite annoying as 2 trains of fastrack users went ahead of me when I was stood at the front of the row I was queuing for. It also meant they had a swarm of people clogging up the exit path from right near the steps going down. Hope this doesn't become a regular thing!

Hi all. Merlin have now made a pass just for Thorpe park. I have bough mine already online, but what do you think? Is it worth paying £64 to go to one park when you can pay £110 for about 10 places? Place your thoughts here

Thorpe Park have released some more details about their new summer event, 'Island Beats': https://www.thorpepark.com/events-experiences/events/island-beats/ Not entirely sure whether this is a rebranding of Summer Nights, or whether the park will be open from 10am-10pm, with say a ticket available for if you enter after a certain time. The 'Lost City stage' is currently being constructed by The Crust, so will be quite small and, as they say, intimate, which would make me think this will have limited tickets and thus be some sort of 'special Summer Nights' event. I searched for any topics on Picsolve, and failed to find any:I have just returned from THORPE PARK, and I'm not sure if you're aware of this but, Picsolve have now raised their prices as follows:Single Photo (Frame, Keyring, Magnet): £7.00Photo Pass (5 photos): £25.00 [until further notice, Annual Pass discount remains at £18.00, however this will be shortly adjusted]And also, there's a new option for photos: £30.00 for a digital photo keyring - it has 5 photos which can be digitally viewed. Hiya all,I was just wondering if there is any news about Thrope Blast this year as I missed the last year it happened in 2008 or 2009 cos my lift drop out on the day... I looked at the opening dates and times for 2011 and it looks weird that the park is open until 8pm on the 4th - 6th November. I then looked at the 'events' page and there is no sign of Thorpe Blast returning... So I was asking; Are they still thinking about doing it and thats why they kept them days open late, or, is it because its the last few days of the season and want people to stay longer.Sorry just one more question:Why was Thorpe Blast cancelled? I feel that these forums could do with this topic, traditions (rituals) at Thorpe Park. So, do you have any?I have tons, so here are some:- I aways head for Detonator first (soon to be replaced with Saw), followed by Stealth then Nemesis Inferno (then I head up towards Colossus)- I 'attempt' bend the rubber restraints on Stealth- I always try to keep my feet on the lights when walking in the X:/ No Way Out inside queue- I always eat Burger King (nearby Stealth)- When riding Nemesis Inferno, I rest my feet on the back of the seats infront (mainly just exciting the station)- On Stealth, I never look straight, I always look to the side- I always seat on the end seat on Samur…

New for 2014 the Angry Birds 4d experience! The show is actually very good - the seats and the use of multiple special effects has been done very well, seems to be getting a good reaction on park which is good to!

Just wondering if anyone's got any experience with how long Guest Services take to respond to letters? I ask because I went to Thorpe on the 15th (when there was a powercut and a lot of stuff was down), didn't see that free tickets were being given out, and so wrote a letter shortly afterwards to request compensation (I enclosed my ticket from the day so I assume there's no reason why they wouldn't send free tickets). I sent it last Monday second class, so I'm assuming it's got there; my friends and I were planning on returning this Sunday though, so what d'you reckon the chances are of our free tickets being sent to us by Sunday?Cheers if anyone can help me out.

I went to Thorpe Park last night when it was open until 10pm, and was just wondering what everyone thought was the best ride to go on in the dark?Personally, I think that the best rides for the dark are:1st - Rush, because the view is amazing2rd - Stealth, because the view is also amazing3nd - Samurai, because when it is lit up in the dark, it is really fun.

Essentially everyone is fairly tired of seeing it pop up in every new ride topic since 2008, so direct any topspin love or hate here! Interesting to see just what it is about the topspin that everyone feels is a necessity in every theme park. Please give reasons for choices; let the fight begin!
