Talk about anything to do with Tidal Wave here. I noticed there isn't really big queue's for Tidal Wave anymore exspecily for Winter. Isit due to people don't want to get wet or just not worth it?

Essentially everyone is fairly tired of seeing it pop up in every new ride topic since 2008, so direct any topspin love or hate here! Interesting to see just what it is about the topspin that everyone feels is a necessity in every theme park. Please give reasons for choices; let the fight begin!

I thought the park might be quiet, and it got really quiet into the afternoon. Nice to bump into some members on the park, hope to see you again soon. Strange as it may seem, I did leave Stealth for a while in the afternoon. I could see that the queue for Nemesis Inferno was nil, and I could see the same for SWARM. I walked on to the former, then the same for Slammer, Colossus, Saw (though someone evacuated their stomach on the carriage in front of our returning one, so they then shut the ride), walk on for Vortex, Rush and then SWARM, then felt I had to have the remainder of the day on Stealth. With no queue for the last hour, everybody could re-r…

Not sure if this is the right forum because it's just a suggestion - but thought I'd highly recommend Hansa Park for a TP trip, which I visited last weekend! It's fantastic and really hospitable to groups (CEO greetings/goodies/ERT) AND discounted entry! The Park is very deceptive in how much there is to do.....there's LOADS - definitely a two-dayer - and some TOP rides you want to do again and again! I also think its great for groups - because you've got all these side attractions to play on and be silly on to have a laugh for example - free high-ropes courses (no uncharge). Also because Karnan:- that is all!! - It gives Taron a run for its mon…

I feel that these forums could do with this topic, traditions (rituals) at Thorpe Park. So, do you have any?I have tons, so here are some:- I aways head for Detonator first (soon to be replaced with Saw), followed by Stealth then Nemesis Inferno (then I head up towards Colossus)- I 'attempt' bend the rubber restraints on Stealth- I always try to keep my feet on the lights when walking in the X:/ No Way Out inside queue- I always eat Burger King (nearby Stealth)- When riding Nemesis Inferno, I rest my feet on the back of the seats infront (mainly just exciting the station)- On Stealth, I never look straight, I always look to the side- I always seat on the end seat on Samur…

For a long time I have commented on how different people are, physically, emotionally, interests and hobbies. I knew that a sister of mine was not interested in rides, roller coasters or flat, and she often wondered about my mental state. However, I did not expect that having shown her a video of Stealth, she would have to dash to the bathroom for a digestive evacuation! at least I know she will never be in my way at a theme park.

Seriously! Back in 2008 when I first visited the park was arguably the most exciting park in the UK due to amazing investments the park was installing each year! Now every new attraction is either a maze or “experience” and the fact they turned their only “good” family coaster into a horror themed attraction is just ridiculous! Why don’t they add any new coasters or flat rides? It’s becoming such a bore! The last decent addition was in 2012! The 2nd hand kiddie rides they’ve added to old town don’t even blend into the area they stick out like sore thumbs with their colourful colour scenes and old “theming” Why have they…

Hello guys, Been a regular of the forums for many years but decided to ask the burning question this morning... just what has happened to the park? Thorpe Park a few years ago was arguably the best park in the UK, it was going from strength to strength in terms of investments and then all of sudden we get IACGMOOH, bouncezilla, the year of the walking dead etc They even pulled The Big Top off the Fright Nights bill which from what I understand was a favourite by many I assume 2020 will be just as poor in regards to the parks line up / investments as no planning has been put through for a coaster or even a new flat ride...…

Seeing that the Swarm came tops, I thought I'd do another poll similar but this time which coaster everyone likes the best in the dark/night time at Thorpe. Things to consider your choice/s are Coherence to the theme Lighting (as too much ruins the effect) Interaction to surroundings (at night)

Hi guys. Thorpe Park may have arguably one of the UK’s most well-known and well-liked selections of thrill coasters, but another aspect of the park that is commonly revered is its lineup of flat rides. Thorpe’s flat ride lineup is arguably one of the most expansive and varied in the UK, or dare I say the world, with quite a plethora of thrilling flat rides on offer. There have also been some intriguing past residents within Thorpe Park’s flat ride lineup. With this in mind, I’d be interested to know; which past or present Thorpe Park flat ride is your favourite? Personally, I’m not the biggest lover of flat rides overall, and I’ve only actually done 3 of Thorp…

Hi guys. I'm sure that many members on here are seasoned visitors to Thorpe Park, and I wouldn't be surprised if some members have "gameplans", if you will, of how to best tackle the park. With this in mind, I'd be interested to know; in your view, which Thorpe Park coaster or group of coasters is best to start the day on? I only ask because I'm headed back to the park next month for my third solo day there, and I'm wondering whether to stick to my usual strategy or divvy it up. On my previous two visits, I've always found Stealth/Inferno to be a good duo to start on, as I've found that you can take a ride on both of those two as well as Detonator early on wit…

Sorry guys about this 'late' entry, I never got round to doing it yesterday: Just to remind you, you vote on these three questions: Would you ever ride it? Would it fit in at a UK theme park? Would you put it in thorpe park? The ride up this week is... Extreme ride! There are many versions of this but I have got a video of the 4 arm one, of course if thorpe DID get one of these they would be better off with a 6 arm: So guys, get voting and most importantly... Could it be the 2014 ride at thorpe park?

Hey guys, I don't know about you, but I am fed up of seeing all the negativity out there about Thorpe Park. Sure, it's far from perfect, but this is the Thorpe fan site - If you're reading this forum, you must love the place to some extent? So why not share why?! Let's bring back some of the glassy eyed excitement we all used to feel when using these forums Please let us all know what are your 3 favourite things about Thorpe Park. Why do you love the place? I'll start. My favourite things about Thorpe are The atmosphere. I don't know what it is about Thorpe, but it has a certain atmosphere that you don't get anywhere …
