Just seeing as they have a new coaster for 2009, I thought I should make a topi about Europa Park. Launched, looks good!If anyone here has been to EP, I expect you'll be as excited as I am, if it's to the same amazing quality that the other installations there have been

PortaVentura is a Theme Park based very similar to Alton Towers but with the rides of Thorpe Park (not exactly). First of all is Dragon Khan, a 7 looping rollercoaster that was similar to Colosus but very intense. Then my favourite ride was Hurukan Condor the exact same as Detonator but 300ft tall (that's taller than Stealth) and it also has a ride photo just as it realeases you from the top. I stayed at The Hotel PortaVentura but there were two other hotels except my Hotel was the only one with direct entrance into the park. The park also had a double wooden rollercoaster what was called Stampida (Stampede) which was themed to be a wagon race. For anyone who goes make su…

Another excellent park in Europe, although its mainly a family park, the amount of effort that goes into everything is awsome. They built a new water coaster in 2006 called 'Vliegende Hollander' (which traslates as 'The Flying Dutchman), but it kept valleying and had so many problems so it didnt actually open at all in 2006 and hopefully it will be open in 2007.Here are some photos from my visit this year.

Heide-Park has been clearing a large area of land for a while now, but recently they have put up signs that read this:Du willst in eine andere welt eintauchen?Do you want to dive into another world?and then followed by:Dann komm wieder in 2011!Then come again in 2011!Any thoughts to what this could be?Photos of the site being cleared and the signs can be found here:http://www.screamsca.../heide-park.htmPost your opinons here!

Did check for another topic on DLRP but couldn't find one, if it was just me being an idiot, sorry :)Basically I visited Disneyland Paris (or Euro Disney as it was then) twice when I was younger, and I'm visiting this summer and would love to know any tips/ or what has changed. Or even just to discuss opinions on rides and attractions. The most obvious change I can see is that there is now a second park. Also I am staying on-site at Santa Fe (any reviews on this particular hotel?) , I have read that hotel guests can get into the park 2 hours before park opening, does anyone know what rides open/ usually open at this time, and also I read a while ago that hotel guests get e…

Just looking through the Other Parks & Attractions sub-forum and realised Cedar Point doesn't have a topic, surely it deserves one as America's roller coast, eh!? Also the fact that with the news of their 2013 rollercoaster; I can imagine there will be a lot of discussion about the place over this years closed season and the coming months when we discover more about their major 2013 project. Anyway, they confirmed this news today on Twitter! So that's pretty much what we knew already, should be interesting when more details are announced about that possible B&M Wing Rider! And I wonder if that random spam of symbols will actually have any relevance to t…

Energylandia is the biggest theme park in Poland and looks to have a very exciting future ahead. This year, it invested in a Vekoma launch coaster called Formula 1 which looks like a really wild ride! But, for 2018, the park will be opening a mega coaster. 2 layouts have been shortlisted and both have been released to the public. These layouts are from Vekoma and Intamin and the park are giving the public the chance to vote for which one they would like to see built. Personally, I prefer Vekoma's design, but what do you think is the better design? Discuss that, and anything related to Energylan…

Considering they recently revised their Fantasyland plans I think now's as good a time as any to create a topic for WDW in general, so incorporating all 4 of the parks and resort...Firstly, the Fantasyland expansion has been revised in the Magic Kingdom, killing off the numerous Princess based attractions, and giving us a new Mine themed coaster... As well as the Little Mermaid and Beauty and the Beast attractions...Scroll down here...Animal Kingdom recently opened a new Animal Trek paying (I think) attraction... This involves a special jaunt around the Savannah area there and looks rather awesome... Apart from the food, that looks crap tbh...Pictures can be seen here...A…

Let's be honest, what's the point of an entire thread dedicated to Parc Saint Paul? Sooooo I thought why not put all those smaller places into one topic that will see the likes of PSP, Le Pal and many, many more have updates on what they're getting in the future for all budding cred runners! To start off, Parc Saint Paul are getting a Gravity Group wooden coaster next year: Elsewhere in France, Le Pal (near Lyon) is getting a JOYvelen clone (https://rcdb.com/15072.htm), and a brand new park in Parc Spirou (https://rcdb.com/12676.htm) is being built in the South, with a Zierer tower launched thing coming with it. …

Hey wasn't sure if this deserved it's own thread or not since I'm not sure I'll write a follow up report or anything but I was planning on visiting Walibi Holland in August, honestly I don't know much about the park (though I've heard it compared to Thorpe Park in that it's more about the big thrills than family stuff in a lot of ways) and I was wondering if anyone could give me any advice on visiting there or anything (best days to visit or what I should go on first etc) I'm looking forward to trying Robin Hood since I've never been on a wooden rollercoaster before and Goliath looks quite fun too, I haven't really been to any international theme parks before (well I …

I don't think we have a topic (I searched) for this park yet, and we're gonna need one... Why? Because it's getting a wooden coaster next year, is generally fab, and is only 45 minutes away from Calais! I visited yesterday and was lucky enough to get to chat to two management staff and try and coax SOME information about the planned wooden coaster for next year... Unfortunately we couldn't, but found out some interesting information about the park and the Plopsa brand (they own 5 parks, including Holiday Park) in general... As for this year, they're theming up their Teacups to a new IP of their own (Studio 100 own the Plopsa parks, so they are filled with thei…

Since I'm getting excited for going here AND I've just seen a new POV of their biggest ride I'm making a topic for it...Located in Skiersdorf Germany, this was originally opened as the second Legoland park, but only lasted a very short time and became HANSA LAND!Home to 4 coasters with a 5th on the way, it has a few stand-out weird rides... And focuses a lot on some great (and not so great theming), including:DIE GLOCKE NESSIE RIO DORADO ANDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDFLUCH VON NOVGOROD! A launched Eurofighter with ENCLOSED drop/launch/lift and amazing theming... Expect a MASSIVE trip report in June... Including their new Gerstlauer family coaster, the SNAKE OF MIDGARD!

Again I find myself following an European park building a brand new B&M, so let's have a topic about the park and ride...I visited the park for the first time last year, and throughly enjoyed the rides and atmosphere, with the classy Tonnerre de Zeus being backed up by Goudrix (not as bad as people say) in the current big coaster stakes, and some excellent theming and rides dotted around the park...See my TR in the link below for some pics...http://forum.maniahub.com/topic/7404-paris-parc-asterix-et-piscines/And next year, a B&M Inverted will arrive...http://www.potionmagix.fr/forumix/nouvelle-zone-attraction-2012-parc-asterix-t1271-430.html#p33432Hopefully this n…

Yes this is a park which its sole theme is the Irish crisps company that own it. They are planning to install the 2nd biggest woodie in europe for 2015. Stats: 1.4kms long (4593ft) 32m high (104ft) 105kph (65mph) 2 trains with 12 seats each 700pph 8.5million Euro It will take up 2.8 acres of space. The only coaster bigger then it will be Wodan at europa in dimensions (I think they have forgotten Colossos at Heide) Fingers crossed this goes all to plan as it will be Irelands first big coaster. I'm amazed we don't have a topic for this lovely park! Should have been enough of a reason on its own! They have a huge expansion plan in progress with an aim of doubling gate figures up to 1.2 million by 2025. So as seen here the entrance will move, 3 big phases for new themed area (first one for 2018 which is the yellow one) and a hotel! Buildings up to 30metres bar the entrance which has a 45 metre tower whenever that materialises. New rides up to 45 metres with the exception of 3 rides allowed to go to 100 metres. They have nice neighbours it seems (if they have neighbours, its very middle of no where) So what are they buil…

I'd be umm-ing and err-ing about whether to make a thread for Walibi Belgium, but their new coaster is intriguing me more and more, so figured I may as well... Pulsar, opening in early June, is a new Mack Power Splash coaster. Promo video... Essentially, the ride features 3 launches (eventually reaching a speed of about 62mph) and one massive splashdown (the promo video shows a couple, but there is only one). It sounds like such a weird, unnecessary and silly attraction, but at the same time, I think it could be quite fun! To help improve throughputs, there will be 2 boats / cars. One is on the track, the other in the station, which is separated by a…

I know there is a poll but this fantastic place deserves a real topic in my opinion! With all the talk of Florida trips recently it has reminded me of the amazingness that is Disneyland California! So to start off a magical new ride based around the Little mermaid film:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aIarm5FEQXI&feature=mh_lolz&list=FLmaqwRppLNLcRiders are given a backstory by a seagull before plunging underwater into the vibrant and soundsational ocean along with Sebastian, Ariel and Flounder of course! It's a great mixture between a fantasyland dark ride and the 'omnimover' system as seen in the Haunted Mansion too.Although this isn't a main attraction it is definit…
